so happy right now :) got to meet neil gaiman tonight!! i was so blown away, i couldn't find my words but im happy i could tell him how finding comedy in my religious upbringing was so important to me. i also want to shout out the town hall! i had a seizure (i have epilepsy so not my first one! but still lol) during the cowboy bebop event, and the manager johnny offered me the opportunity to be here tonight!

i got to meet one of my favourite authors, and another author i haven't heard about before! Brandy! Hi! I'm really excited to read The Framed Women of Ardmore House when it comes out!! waiting for the show to start, and i'm just. wow. thank you neil for talking with me and signing my well-loved copy of good omens! it means the world to me.

CHRISTMAS CAROL TOWN HALL

TOMORROW!! I will be on a plane to London tomorrow—for work. But THEN! I fly back in to New York to see @neil-gaiman perform as Charles Dickens! (At Town Hall!)

Last I checked there were still tickets left. If you can make it, I hear tell Mr. Gaiman will be wearing a top hat. :)

By the way, Town Hall is nifty. Think about supporting them!

The Prague astronomical clock is a medieval astronomical clock attached to the Old Town Hall in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic.

The clock was first installed in 1410, making it the third-oldest astronomical clock in the world and the oldest clock still in operation.

The clock mechanism has three main components – the astronomical dial, representing the position of the Sun and Moon in the sky and displaying various astronomical details; statues of various Catholic saints stand on either side of the clock; "The Walk of the Apostles", an hourly show of moving Apostle figures and other sculptures, notably a figure of a skeleton that represents Death, striking the time; and a calendar dial with medallions representing the months. According to local legend, the city will suffer if the clock is neglected and its good operation is placed in jeopardy; a ghost, mounted on the clock, was supposed to nod its head in confirmation. According to the legend, the only hope was represented by a boy born on New Year's night.

at first people passed the vibe check with heart/care reacts, thumbs up… and then the boomers came

a lot of people settled on it’s some configuration of parker/eliot or hardison/eliot give off sibling vibes and hardison is dating parker, but a fair amount of folks said they would accept or would like the ot3. one based guy was like ‘if it drives the story then power to them’. someone else just commented ‘till my dying day’, another said ‘I mean… they already measured his head for the robot bodies’. someone else said they like brother sister eliot and parker but queerplatonic with parker and hardison dating is still good to them.

and then there was one woman who basically said if you don’t want honest answers you shouldn’t ask the questions and then said eliot is a good friend/brother to them and love does not need to be romantic or sexual to be strong (girlie what do you think queerplatonic means 😭💀)
