A short guide to the Age of Wrath
The Secession War, also referred to as the Age of Wrath in certain sources, was a relatively short-lived yet remarkably violent conflict waged between the Cybertronian Commonwealth and the Free Kaoner Republic. Its inception lay with the adoption of the fundamentalist Adaptusian creed of Functionism as the state philosophy of Guard Convoy’s government, and the resulting oppression of the Kaoner nation. After an outbreak of street violence and terrorism by the burgeoning Decepticons, the Rijk Ephemeris, the long-standing ruler of Kaon, unexpectedly declared independence from the Commonwealth. What followed was a vorn of undeclared yet high-intensity warfare between the FKR and the Commonwealth, ending only after the ascension of Star Convoy and the re-integration of the FKR under a federal arrangement.
The military forces involved in the war included, but were not limited to:
The Tor Kolkular Guard, the professional military and honor guard of the Rijk. While at most only a standard CDC brigade combat team in size, the ‘Old Guard’ was marked out amongst the forces of the Republic by its esprit de corps, mechanized forces, and skill at arms.
The Commonwealth Defense Corps of course played a role in the war on Kaon, albeit begrudgingly. The armor-dominated Heavy Brigade under General Strika made up the core of forces in the Southern theater of Cybertron. By and large, however, there was far more desire to re-integrate Kaon into the Commonwealth amongst that state’s political leadership than its military commanders. Functionism was unpopular – even in Iacon –  and many commanders openly blamed the harsh imposition of its strictures upon Kaon for the ‘Kaon emergency’.
Supplementing the Tor Kolkular Guard was the Fyrd of Kaon. While conscription was limited, both conscript divisions and private militias fell under its purview, as per the Rijk’s decrees. These included Decepticon-aligned sects such as the ‘Raiders’ – a fact that the Commonwealth’s propaganda took and ran with. Even the local TEKU and other such street racer gangs signed up for service as the 1st Motor Cavalry Squadron. By and large, there was no standardization outside of the conscript divisions. Most of the militia were, in fact, equipped and trained on their commander’s shanix.
The Functionary Corps was the long arm of the Functionist Council, a mass of fanatics through whom they could impose their will on others. Having initially started as a morality police in Iacon and other ‘core’ territories, they soon expanded to include regiments of paramilitary Tactical Functionaries. These units were typically attached to CDC Brigades as mere reinforcements, anti-retreat ‘stiffening detachments’, and political officers. Whilst training and quality of equipment varied wildly amongst the Tactical Functionaries, they were feared and hated by both CDC and Kaoner forces for their brutality to friend and foe alike. Many of their commanders, including the infamous Judge Terror, would be sentenced to imprisonment on Garrus-9 for their war crimes after the war.

Hello fellow watchers,
Today's digibash will be quite different from the rest. Thanks to @autoacafiles approval today i give you digibash based on one of my favourite characters from their Fan comic story called "Autobot Academy". Her name is Artillery and i will not spoil you her origins, because you should go and read the comic. It is really good. As a base i used Warbotron Heavy Noisy figure and her cannon is based on random Optimus Prime Ion blaster image i found and modified. i tried to make her as close to original design as possible, but there were some aspects i had to miss, such as her shoulders
Here's link to her profile: https://autoacafiles.tumblr.com/post/165619348764/sonar-based-on-concepts-by-redpanda451
Once again thanks @autoacafiles for letting me make digibash based on your character and maybe if i have time i will do another one.
Transformers belongs to Hasbro/Takara,
Artillery and Autobot Academy comic belongs to @autoacafiles

Lowkey, I think one of my favorite little things about Rescue Bots is how we get to learn a little more about Optimus when he shows up. Like, not war stuff or Orion Pax stuff, but just little things about Optimus.
One of his favorite Earth stories is The Little Engine That Could. Does he read in his spare time and if so, how did he find Little Engine?
He tells Heatwave that he has also been learning from humans. What has he learned? The phrase "Nothing much, double dutch." Who the fuck taught him that? My money's on Miko. Jack would not have the audacity to add that to Prime's vernacular.
He has a motherfuckin' rocket powered car carrier capable of hauling four bots. And since Team Prime had four four-wheelers on the team prior to Darkness Rising, you could reasonably assume that he has used it with Cliff, Bee, Bulk, and Ratch
Optimus knows what a pogo stick is. That isn't anything noteworthy, I just think it's funny.

Another day, another artfight. This time, the character presented is a creation of @cuppajj... which was an interesting thing to work around considering how Astrum Tabula is meant to be THE Lost Light in an alternate universe where the Lost Light is a Titan, but I wanted the AutoAca Lost Light to be more or less canon compliant... so I had to come up with a story about how Astrum was accidentally awakened by the Lost Light, went "bet" and scanned it, and now there's a second Lost Light following the first around like a puppy.
So, this is a thing now!

God or Devil: Septimus Prime's thoughts on the Age of Heroes
"Unhappy, the land that breeds no heroes?"
Septimus Prime would say: nay. German Marxist playwright Bertolt Brecht put it succinctly. "Unhappy, the land that is in need of heroes." Or to quote Frank Hebert, "no more terrible disaster could befall your people than to fall into the hands of a hero".  Septimus learned the meaning of this firsthand. Thanks to her and the early Circle of Light's heroics, the Darklanders of Cybertron's south - who she had brought (at times, forcibly) under the national identity of 'Kaoner' - did not simply throw off the yoke of the marauding 'Demons' and stop there. A Kaoner holy war for possession of the Matrix began, with her as both its hero and demagogue. In large part, Iacon won their defense against this and established a dynasty of ruling Convoys, heroes and demagogues in their own right- leaving the Kaoner hero of Septimus to become remembered as a devil elsewhere. In Septimus's experience, the way of individual heroism by a charismatic leader led to an aggressive, expansionist nature, then merely servility and complacency in those that the hero 'saves', and finally their subjugation by another 'hero'.
The widespread re-emergence of Talents is particularly problematic in that they exacerbate this Cybertronian problem of individual heroism and charismatic leadership. But in addition, they reify it as a measurable, observable, and concrete thing. One can easily point to a powerfully Talented individual as being fit to lead, and they control many social institutions as a result. Through what is often no fault of their own, through an accident of birth, Talented individuals are leading to the alienation of the Talentless from politics.
As such, a liberal democratic republic like the Commonwealth is slowly becoming a warlord state. Already, the Decepticons possess vast powers outside of the rule of law. Through mobilizing Talented individuals, they erode the authority of the state and its monopoly on violence. Decepticon sect-leaders do not derive their power from popular acclaim. Rather, they derive it from being to overpower, manipulate and otherwise subdue their subordinates. Warlords also exist outside of the Decepticons, such as the Arsonist of Caminus, Incinerator.
