The thing about Be Cool Scooby Doo is that it really knows how to lean into the often repetitive and formulaic nature of sd media. It's definitely a show that enjoys playing with sd tropes without feeling too mean spirited when pointing it out.
Similar to phineas and ferb, the repetition works really well for the comedy aspect. It's all about running gags, even if the episodes usually work as standalone

Pretty sure this is an unpopular opinion, or at least one I haven’t heard, but my take is that Be Cool, Scooby Doo is genuinely my favorite iteration of the franchise and I truly believe that it would’ve been the one everyone connected with and latched onto the most if it had come out before Mystery Inc. and had that show’s art style instead of the jankier art style it had. The characterizations were wonderful, the way the characters’ relationships with each other were written and handled was 10/10, and it follows the original format well while adding stuff to make the show a bit more three-dimensional than other iterations of it. It isn’t really trying to be adult or edgy like Mystery Inc. or Velma, but it does play around with sometimes getting more serious and not just being a very simple, very formulaic, goofy kids’ show. Idk, I just really like it and feel like the writing should’ve gotten more attention and appreciation than it did and the main reasons it didn’t are just the animation style and perhaps also the timing of its release relative to Mystery Inc.

Ngl “will we be here when you return? you’ll never know if you stay” is such a raw fucking line and it’s from be cool Scooby doo as Scooby and Shaggy dressed up as a princess and a jester to send a snow monster on a fake quest to they can run away.
