Here’s the most recent issue of BTZ (though by the time you read this review there will probably be a couple more). As you can probably guess by the date, this is a post-COVID zine. Some of the contributors don’t mention the pandemic; others talk about how it has affected their zine plans for the year.

I was especially interested in Liz Mason’s article, which is a sort-of follow-up to her essay from the last issue. It’s been very interesting to see how the data is being collected and interpreted. I’m looking forward to future issues of this series — I hope I get the chance to read Mason’s take on a “Most Wanted Zine” and “Most Unwanted Zine.”

I really like this series.
