“sorry just some insane hc’s about how in my head they have sex constantly lol and they both like, get off so much on like, daniel just coming up behind max in the kitchen to pull his sweats down and fuck him, max barely needing any prep bc they fuck so much” KILL ME!!! Ok this is sort of a prompt but pls feel free to ignore—I think this is literally soooo hot but I’m also like 👀 at taking it to another level where they do this even when they’re not on the best terms? Like in the middle of a days-long fight where they’ve barely said a word to each other (like about something silly like maybe max did something rly dangerous during a race and Daniel is upset bc he doesn’t know what he would do if max got hurt) but even still they need each other so much they fuck like that anyway,..maybe they go to bed mad at each other but Daniel can’t fall asleep bc his mind is racing so he wakes max up and just starts fucking him then let’s him go back to sleep….ok I’ll stop lol sorry :/
wow anon, your amazing brain. thoughts below the cut!
cw: free use, & ‘starting sex while one person is sleeping’ (i can never spell the fancy kink name for it lol sorry). also please please don't read if you think you won't like what those cw’s might mean
okay, so i can see this working especially if they have a 'free use' situation of max in place. and because they're both so horny for each other constantly, i think max is always free use, it's a 24/7 thing. they have their safe word or something that means they want to pause or stop or whatever, but other than that, max is daniel's for the taking.
(max definitley saw the title 'free use' in a porn vid or something they watched together and asked daniel 'what's that?' daniel explained, palms sweating bc he knew the moment max found out, he'd ask if they could do that, and daniel would be too weak for max to say no < side note lol, i think the porn they'd each watch alone vs together is such an interesting discussion point >)
and as you correctly stated, even when they're mad at each other they still need each other. so much. daniel made a dumb joke once, him in perth, max in monaco, that he was sleeping badly without max because he needed to be 'emptied,' before before bed and max just took that so seriously while simultaneously thinking it was the hottest thing ever and that it proved how well matched they were, bc he always slept better with daniels come inside him too :)
so going back to being mad, oops, yes, lets say max drove like an idiot and daniel is mad because its easier to let himself feel that than like, crushing fear, and this makes max get defensive and say shit he doesn't mean like, 'it is none of your buisness how i drive daniel, we are not on the same team anymore.' cue a lot of slammed doors and stony silence.
they've still not spoken and bed time is approaching. daniel is winding himself up by watching race highlights, and ofc its all about max's [insert dangerous race manouvere here, idk, i watch this sport for the fanfiction], and he's replaying the video over and over, while looping max's words over too in his head, 'none of your buisness,' and he thinks, you little shit, ill show you 'none of my buisness.' and is on his feet then to find max
who is brushing his teeth, meeting daniel's eyes in the mirror, and noticing theyre dark. thinks oh okay, good, lets sort this out, but says something bitchy onces he's spat out his toothpaste like, 'i thought you were sleeping on the sofa.' (fyi neither one of them has ever slept on the sofa, no matter how mad lol). then daniel is crossing the room, one hand curling around max's hip, the other on the back of his neck, pushing him down until his cheek is pressing against the bathroom counter. says something mean but kinda sexy like, 'i think you need reminding why i wanna keep you around enough to worry,' then like, pushes max’s pyjama bottoms down, swipes his fingers across max's hole, feeling he's still wet from the 'youre an idiot but i love you' sex they had right after the race and pushes two fingers in, 'who else is going to need it so bad they keep themselves open and ready for me, hmm?'
so then daniel fucks him, max’s hot pink face pressed against the cool tile, the slapping sound of daniel’s thrusts loud in the bathroom. max comes untouched when daniel calls him his ‘sl*t’ and says like, ‘what would i do if i didn’t have this tight little place to put my load each night?’ and then comes in him as if to prove a point but also to prove to himself that like, its okay. max can still take him bc max is still here.
sometimes thats enough. sometimes its not. lets say this time, max is being stubborn, because he knows this time he was actually in the wrong a little by being kinda mean to daniel back so he like, doubles down in his rightous anger. so daniel offers him a smile after, in the mirrow again, but max is ignoring him, just pulling his pyjama bottoms back up and shoving past him to get into bed.
and when they try to go to sleep like that, still pissed at each other, it just feels so wrong. daniel can't sleep for real now, not because of no sex, they had sex, but because he hates this. hates not talking, just looking at the hard line of max's back, where its usually the sweet curve of his tits he gets to see, max facing him, face smashed into the pillow as he snores.
so he’s whispering, ‘max?’ and not getting an answer. he doesnt know its bc max is stubborn or bc hes really asleep, but- but they’ve done this before so he knows its okay to push his pyjama bottoms down again, to groan a little seeing how max is shiny, sticky there. didnt clean himself up, didn’t let daniel do it with his tongue and daniel wants to fix that starts lapping at max softly until max is letting out little puffs of air, barely-there whimpers. then daniel is rubbing his dick along the crack of max’s ass, asking, ‘can i have you again, baby?‘ and max is pushing back against him which is answer enough.
this time, daniel holds him gently, spooned up right behind him, just grinding over his prostate until max is trembling, shaking in his arms so over stimulated. and right before max comes, he whines out, ‘i love you, i am sorry,’ and then daniel is coming too, into the warm clutch of max’s body and it’s okay again because max is here and safe and neither of them are mad anymore :)

ARTWORK
Laura Jones
Sliding doors, 2024
Tim Winton, 2024
Sulman Prize 2024, Archibald Prize 2024. Art Gallery of New South Wales, Australia.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Self-portraiture allows me to capture moments of vulnerability and wonder in everyday settings. Sliding doors was painted at the start of a new relationship. I adopted the pose of Pierre Bonnard's wife, Marthe, in his 1932 work The bathroom. The mirror reflected the bedroom of my apartment. This equalised the image plane, allowing me to capture a familiar place - and body - from a different perspective. The small picture of domestic life collides with the big picture of the sublime.
In 2016, Laura Jones undertook an artist residency to study the bleaching of the Great Barrier Reef, leading to her exhibition Bleached. Afterwards, she met acclaimed author and conservationist Tim Winton at an environmental advocacy event.
‘I was amazed by the humility of this great novelist, who has enchanted generations of Australian readers,’ says Jones, a four-time Archibald finalist who is also in this year’s Sulman Prize.
‘Last year, I watched his ABC documentary, Ningaloo Nyinggulu, about the fight to save Ningaloo Reef. It was beautiful and terrifying. In a speech, Tim said the lack of action on climate change hasn’t been challenged enough in the arts. I was stunned to discover a portrait of Tim had never been a finalist in the Archibald Prize. Then I found out why – he was a reluctant subject,’ says Jones.
‘When I flew to Perth for a sitting, the Great Barrier Reef was suffering its fifth mass bleaching event in eight years. Tim was warm and witty. We spoke about the historical relationship between printmaking and political activism. I approached his portrait as if it was a monotype, using thin brushstrokes and letting the paint bleed across the canvas like ink into paper. Dreamy yet direct.’
What I connect with…
I love the colours and gestural strokes in Laura Jones’s work. Her Sulman entry captivated me as soon as I entered the space. The Archibald entry not so much, but both did show up the others around them. So beautiful and light and fresh.

Ao3 wrapped: 6 and 29
I already answered 6 and I think you can guess it!
29. Favorite line/passage you wrote this year?
It probably should have been hard to pick, but it's the early-ish section in Want with Daniel's thoughts. It just embodied internalised homophobia in a few lines and when I read it back I was like damn... this is nice. Also, I wrote it on a plane, which meant I was so focused and in his head that it was easy.
Under the cut, if you want a reminder...
Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. What was that? Shut up, you piece of shit.
Daniel moved towards the sink, turning on the tap and making sure it ran cold before splashing himself in the face in an attempt to sober himself. His brain was out of control, taking him back to a scorching afternoon in Perth, of the day that he had laughed along with his friends when that kid in their class had told them he was bisexual. To the first time he had sex with his teenage girlfriend and the relief he had felt when he had enjoyed it. The day his best friend had fallen asleep in his bed and the way Daniel had felt when he had woken up pressed against him half hard. To the shame he felt jerking off to the feeling of it later. To the tears that he had let himself cry after Max had kissed him and he pushed him away, calling him disgusting.
“Pull it together,” Daniel said to himself. “This is just the alcohol making you feel like this.”
It isn’t. Lier.
In his head, he and his dad were sitting on a beach in LA, drinking beer and laughing. His dad mentioned the “fags that had just moved in down the street” and Daniel didn’t correct the slur. He saw his mum's face when he had brought a girl home, brimming with hope and pride. Then there was Max again, and that feeling of want that he had never had with any girl until she was physically touching him. The relief every time he stayed hard long enough for her to pretend to be satisfied. The way his mind drifted to firm chests and broad shoulders and stubble whenever he had his dick in his hand.
He looked up at his reflection in the mirror, he could see the rise and fall of his chest, still moving too fast and deep for comfort.
“You are over thirty years old, when are you going to let yourself have what you want?” He asked.
For years, Daniel genuinely believed that he was straight. He had always been good at getting girls and he enjoyed being with them. He still enjoyed it, but he had to try. For some time, he had found solace in his strength. It was another workout. Keeping his brain under control. He thought about that girl who asked if she could finger his arse while she blew him and the way he had fucked her so hard to prove to her that he wasn’t gay. Then the way it had felt so right when he had tried it on himself the night after, like it was what his body was made for.
The bathroom door opened.

Ultimate Guide to Residential Sliding Doors: Style and Functionality
Tumblr media
Residential sliding doors have become an essential element in modern home design, offering a blend of style, convenience, and practicality. These doors are known for their ability to save space, provide easy access, and create a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living areas.
In this blog, let's delve into the different types of cheap residential sliding doors Perth, their benefits, and tips for choosing the perfect sliding doors for your home.
Types of Residential Sliding Doors
Patio Sliding Doors
Patio sliding doors are one of the most popular choices for homeowners. They typically feature large glass panels that slide horizontally along a track, providing easy access to outdoor spaces such as patios, decks, and gardens. These doors offer excellent natural light and unobstructed views of the outdoors, making them a favourite for living rooms and dining areas.
Barn Sliding Doors
Barn sliding doors add a rustic charm to any home. These doors slide along a track mounted above the door frame and are often used for interior spaces such as bedrooms, bathrooms, and closets. They are available in various materials, including wood, metal, and glass, and can be customised to match the decor of your home.
Pocket Sliding Doors
Pocket sliding doors are an excellent space-saving solution. When opened, these doors slide into a compartment (or pocket) within the wall, completely disappearing from view. This makes them ideal for small rooms or areas where traditional doors might take up too much space, such as home offices, pantries, and laundry rooms.
Bypass Sliding Doors
Bypass sliding doors consist of two or more panels that slide past each other on parallel tracks. These doors are commonly used for closets and wardrobes, allowing for easy access to storage areas without swinging doors getting in the way. They are available in various materials and styles, including mirrored panels that can enhance the sense of space in a room.
Benefits of Residential Sliding Doors
Space Efficiency
Sliding doors are perfect for homes with limited space. Unlike traditional hinged doors that require clearance to open and close, sliding doors operate along a track, making them ideal for tight spaces.
Enhanced Natural Light
Large glass panels in sliding doors allow for an abundance of natural light to enter your home, creating a bright and welcoming environment. This can reduce the need for artificial lighting during the day and enhance the overall ambiance of your living spaces.
Tumblr media
Seamless Indoor-Outdoor Connection
Sliding doors create a smooth transition between indoor and outdoor areas, making them perfect for homes with patios, decks, or gardens. This connection can make your living spaces feel larger and more integrated with nature.
Aesthetic Appeal
Available in a variety of materials, finishes, and styles, residential sliding doors Perth can complement any home décor. Whether you prefer a modern, minimalist look or a more traditional, rustic style, there is a sliding door to match your aesthetic preferences.
Tips for Choosing the Perfect Residential Sliding Doors
Consider Your Space
Evaluate the space where you plan to install sliding doors. Consider factors such as the size of the opening, the amount of natural light you want to let in, and the overall layout of the room. This will help you choose the right type and style of sliding door for your needs.
Select the Right Material
Sliding doors are available in various materials, including wood, aluminium, vinyl, and glass. Each material has its own advantages and can impact the door's durability, energy efficiency, and maintenance requirements. Choose a material that aligns with your preferences and the specific demands of your home.
Focus on Quality
Invest in high-quality sliding doors from reputable manufacturers. Quality doors will not only look better but also perform better and last longer. Look for features such as sturdy frames, smooth gliding mechanisms, and energy-efficient glass options.
Think About Security
Security is an important consideration when choosing sliding doors, especially for exterior applications. Look for doors with robust locking systems, shatterproof glass, and reinforced frames to ensure the safety and security of your home.
Final Words
Sliding doors are a versatile and stylish addition to any home. They offer numerous benefits, including space efficiency, enhanced natural light, and a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor areas.
By carefully considering your space, material preferences, and quality requirements, you can choose the perfect modern sliding doors sydney to enhance your home's functionality and aesthetic appeal. Whether you opt for patio sliding doors, barn sliding doors, pocket sliding doors, or bypass sliding doors, these modern solutions will undoubtedly elevate your living spaces.

How to Increase Your Home Value with Modern Bathroom Modifications?
Tumblr media
Are you considering selling your house or upgrading it with the latest designs? Remodelling your bathroom is a great way to add substantial value to your home. These contemporary additions will wow prospective purchasers and increase your return on investment.
Here are some bathroom modifications to incorporate in your bathroom to enhance its value -
Adore Timelessness and Accessibility
Walk-in Shower: Select a walk-in shower with a rainfall showerhead if possible. This provides a spa-like experience and serves a broader spectrum of customers, including individuals with mobility impairments.
Double Vanity: If there is room, replace that single vanity with a double. This provides a hint of luxury while accommodating hectic households.
The appeal of Classic Tile: Classic subway tiles in neutral colours offer timeless elegance and durability, even as current designs change.
Smart Storage and Spa-Like Elements
Optimise Storage: To keep the bathroom clutter-free, include built-in cabinets or shelving. Consider a combination of closed and open storage for both functionality and display.
Warm toes in the morning due to radiant heat flooring? In the long run, radiant heated flooring increases energy efficiency while adding a touch of luxury.
Contemporary Fixtures and Faucets: Replace antiquated fixtures with sleek, contemporary showerheads and faucets. Consider low-flow choices to add an environmentally friendly touch.
Light it Up
Mirror Magic: Mirror options and placements are among the top priorities of bathroom renovation in Perth. Mirrors positioned thoughtfully offer brightness and an illusion of space to small bathrooms. Consider adding mirrored wall panels or a large vanity mirror.
Task Lighting: Sufficient task lighting above the vanity is imperative. Layering lighting with sconces and recessed lighting creates the ambience of a spa.
Natural Light: If possible, consider installing a skylight or window to add natural light and create an airy, welcoming atmosphere.
Implementing these contemporary changes can create a bathroom that is both elegant and practical, increasing the value and appeal of your house to potential purchasers.

14 June 2024. Port Augusta: (pop approx 13,500)
I am sorry I posted on to the wrong blog yesterday. If you feel like it, just hop on to
nickypoppieandel.tumblr.com
Now… What makes a good caravan Park? First up would definitely be good bathrooms! We didn’t like the Broken Hill Caravan Park much at all, but it SO redeemed itself with the BEST bathroom and showers, especially the shower as they had an inside screen door, so clothes on the bench in the cubicle stayed dry. And plenty of room to get dressed again. Over the years, it appears that caravan parks have made great efforts at providing facilities for travelers, from bathrooms, laundries with driers and outdoor clotheslines, camp kitchens for those with no cooking and/or washing up facilities and some even have a little library. Travelers are usually really friendly, chatty and unselfish and we have met up with very few grumpy travelers!
I forgot to say yesterday that we learned that over the last 800 million years, erosion and climate has slowly worn away the mountains of the Flinders (and probably everywhere else too) and in another 300 million years, it will be flat. Almost impossible to imagine and I haven’t yet found any sort of confirmation of that fact.
Even though some of the scenery from the air yesterday appeared to be “more of the same”, in reality, it changed every few minutes. From red (oxide) to yellow (can’t remember why) to sandy coloured. The photo below is an aerial view of Wilpena Pound. If you look hard enough (🤣🤣) you can almost see that the mountains make a perfect circle round the “pound”.
This morning we walked around Hawker. Coming through the town the other day, I remarked that it looked like a pretty prosperous little town very neat and tidy with a huge sporting complex which wouldn’t be catering just for tourists. We learned …. at the groovy cafe Flinders Food Co that it is a pretty prosperous little (350 people) town, catering for rural grazing (mostly sheep and some cattle properties), fly in/fly out workers, tourism employment and tourists. A great little town I think.
Our day today has been having a walk around Hawker - including the obligatory small cappuccino at the local cafe and then a short drive to Port Augusta. A daily big shop at Woolies, in case, from now on, supplies are limited, lunch and then we dropped the vehicle at the designated van hire contracted repair place to have a couple of things repaired (all insured…. that’s what you pay $60 a day extra for! It’s called a Stress Free Package! To think we drove all the way to Perth from Sydney, 2 weeks without incident, and this time, in 10 days, we’ve had an outside light that no longer works, a broken valve on the grey water outlet pipe and a damaged windscreen (luckily behind the rear view mirror so no viewing problems).
When I say “supplies”, that means tins of corn kernels, tins of baked beans, wholemeal English muffins, fruit, tinned salmon, yoghurt, milk, Cruskits etc. As you can see, we live high on the hog!! Oh yes! And a supply of wine. Our flight was expensive so we have resolved, no more meals “out”.
Port Augusta isn’t the most beautiful place but we decided we need to find a highlight! My highlight was a walk along the sand along a narrow stretch of the Spencer Gulf. There was a sign there about Shore Birds, that drop in to the area on their way to Siberia. They stay around Port Augusta (and probably other places) to eat and store up fat for their journey ahead. Their return journey, at 70 km per hour, is 25,000 km! How amazing is that.
Another highlight has to be helpful people. The G’Day Caravan Park at Port Augusta is fantastic. Very busy, clean, helpful, good bathrooms …. not quite as good as Broken Hill!!) and is fenced off due to kids coming in and breaking and stealing things (it is clear there are tensions around town), so each vehicle has an individual code to get in and we all have the same code to get into the bathrooms. At the Nullarbor Roadhouse, there was a large sign advertising the “secret” code for the girls’ bathroom, because management was sick of people forgetting it 🤣🤣🤣🤣.
Anyway….. moving along…. we arrived at our site and couldn’t connect the electrical cord. We knocked on the door of next door’s caravan and an old fella came out and said we could plug in to our other option but the cord went across his tow bar and we were concerned he’d take us with him if he drove off before us in the morning. He said “Well, you’d be coming to Ceduna with me if I did that! I won’t drive off…….. but I have been known to forget cords!!” Of course I had visions of me not sleeping a WINK, wondering if he was about to drive off (I’m sure he was joking…) we persuaded him to let us lay the cord under his tow bar, even a bit concerned about a vehicle driving over it. When we went to plug the other end of the cord into the van, it too didn’t work! At that moment a man walked past and said “Having trouble plugging in? I’m a sparky, let’s have a look….. you’re plugging into the wrong side of the van!!! That’s the electrical outlet point.” So click click, we plugged in correctly - as we have done FOR 10 nights!!!😱 - no cord under any vehicle, but feeling silly we could be so stupid but thankful for really cheery, helpful people. Of course, both men basically thought we didn’t have a clue, but that’s ok because no-one knows us!
I have a couple of photos to post but will do them separately as I don’t want to risk losing what I’ve written.
Tomorrow we head to Coober Pedy. We’re booked into another G’Day Caravan Park.

Whether you’re installing a new bathroom vanity, updating the kitchen faucet, or adding a new bathtub, it’s important to choose high-quality fixtures that will last. Many kitchen hardware stores and bathroom fixture showrooms have experts who can help you select the right products for your home.
When choosing a bathroom vanity, consider how often you will use it and what style will best suit your space. If you’re using it in a kids’ bathroom, opt for a single basin; if it will be installed in a master ensuite, choose a double vanity. Also, take into account where the current drainage connection is located, as this will determine what style of vanity you can install.

LED Strip Lights in Australia: Illuminating the Future
Australia, a country known for its awe-inspiring landscapes, diverse wildlife, and innovative technology, is now embracing a bright addition to its palette – LED strip lights. A popular choice worldwide, LED strip lights in Australia have seen a surge in popularity due to their energy efficiency, long lifespan, and versatility. From urban homes in Sydney to rural spaces in the Outback, these lights are illuminating the way Australians perceive interior and exterior design.
What are LED Strip Lights?
LED strip lights are thin, flexible lighting solutions that come in a strip form, embedded with small LED bulbs. Available in a myriad of colours, these lights are often used for ambient lighting, accenting spaces, and even as primary light sources in certain design scenarios. Their adaptability and range of colour options have made them particularly popular among homeowners, designers, and businesses alike.
Why LED Strip Lights are Gaining Popularity in Australia
Energy Efficiency: Australians are globally known for their environmental consciousness. As a nation that feels the direct impacts of climate change, opting for energy-efficient solutions is a priority. LED strip lights consume considerably less energy than traditional bulbs, leading to reduced electricity bills and a smaller carbon footprint.
Flexibility in Design: Whether you’re illuminating the poolside area in Queensland, adding a cosy touch to a cafe in Melbourne, or giving an artistic flair to a gallery in Perth, LED strip lights offer unmatched design flexibility. They can be cut to specific lengths, allowing for personalised designs suitable for any space.
Durability: Australia’s diverse climate demands products that can withstand varying conditions. LED strip lights are not only energy-efficient but are also long-lasting. Their robust design ensures that they can endure both hot summers and cooler winters.
Safety: Unlike traditional bulbs that can heat up considerably, LED strip lights remain cool to the touch. This makes them safe for use in children’s rooms and in areas where there's a risk of contact.
Using LED Strip Lights in Australian Homes
From urban apartments to sprawling suburban homes, the use of LED strip lights in Australian residences has taken interior design to a new level.
Kitchen & Living Spaces: Installing them under cabinets or around kitchen islands offers a modern touch. In living spaces, they can be used behind televisions or as accent lighting on shelves and niches.
Bedrooms: LED strip lights are perfect for creating a serene ambiance. They can be placed behind headboards, around mirrors, or even along the baseboards to offer a soft glow.
Bathrooms: These lights can transform an ordinary bathroom into a spa-like experience. With appropriate waterproof ratings, they can be used near bathtubs, showers, and sinks.
Commercial Use of LED Strip Lights in Australia
Businesses across Australia are realising the potential of LED strip lights in creating memorable customer experiences.
Retail: Shops are utilising them to highlight displays, attract customers, and even guide foot traffic.
Restaurants & Cafes: From fine-dining establishments in Sydney to beachside cafes in Gold Coast, LED strip lights create the perfect ambiance for diners.
Offices: Modern workspaces are incorporating LED strip lights to improve aesthetics and ensure a pleasant working environment for employees.
Choosing the Right LED Strip Lights in Australia
When considering LED strip lights for any project, it's essential to consider the following:
Purpose: Determine whether they are for ambient, accent, or primary lighting.
Colour: They come in various colours and even in RGB versions that can change hues with the help of a controller.
Brightness: Ensure the luminosity is appropriate for the intended space.
Waterproofing: If being used outdoors or in moist areas, always choose waterproof variants.
Conclusion
LED strip lights in Australia are more than just a trend; they are shaping the future of lighting design across the country. Their myriad benefits, coupled with the nation’s focus on sustainable and innovative solutions, ensure that these lights are here to stay. Whether you’re redesigning your home or establishing a business, consider LED strip lights as a bright option for all your lighting needs.

**6. Create the Illusion of Space
- Large Tiles: Use larger tiles on the floor and walls to create fewer grout lines, making the space feel more expansive.
- Glass Enclosures: Opt for transparent or frosted glass shower enclosures to allow sightlines to continue uninterrupted, creating a sense of openness.
**7. Multi-Functional Design
- Shower-Bathtub Combo: If space allows, consider a shower-bathtub combination. This multi-functional fixture saves space and caters to different needs.
- Foldable Fixtures: Incorporate foldable elements, like drop-down shower seats or collapsible drying racks, to provide functionality without occupying permanent space.
