How they were hired
These writings are gonna come off as more of rambles in discord at 3 am than actual writing but bear with me.
Durron and Maya were “hired” way before Jack was a merc. I put hired in quotes because all of them are actually working as a way to repay debts owed to the Administrator, all for different reasons.
Durron
Durron previously worked as an assassin/hitman, always killing random government officials or poor souls who owe money. One contractor gave the Administrator to Durron, and he was extremely close to killing her. However, she was heavily guarded and by the time he reached her, his injuries raised the risks of him not making it out alive. So the mission was left unfinished.
Many years later, after Durron settled and started searching for a new job, to help pay for his husband’s medical bills. A newspaper ad for mercenaries caught his attention and he ultimately applied for it. He was unaware that the job was overlooked by the Administrator herself, and unfortunately, she hadn’t forgotten about him. His invasion at TFI was very troublesome, but she did have to give him some credit for showing how flawed their security system was. So, instead of working for RED or BLU, she decided to hire Durron under the Admin team, keeping an eye on him and subjecting him to working under her for the rest of his career.
Maya
Maya comes from a long line of incredible mechanics and engineers. The family works under several contracts with different companies, one of them being TFI. Out of nowhere, her entire family was killed for reasons unknown to her at the time, and for years she had been running away from bounty hunters and contractors looking for repayment.
A few years pass and as she was studying her family’s blueprints for her arm [remind me to talk more about her arm] she’s paid a visit by a young Ms Pauling. Maya was already extremely wary of anyone visiting her out of nowhere, especially since she was living in the bushlands in Australia at the time, so no one should be able to just randomly find her unless they were actively looking for her. Ms Pauling cautiously requested for Maya to come with her to Teufort, saying that the Administrator is expecting, which doesn’t help much. Ms Pauling then offered Maya a deal; some of the best engineers work at Team Fortress Industries. If Maya needs it, she can find assistance for whatever she needs for her arm. After some careful consideration, Maya reluctantly accepts, following Ms Pauling to Teufort.
Jack
There are significant gaps from Durron and Maya’s time of hire compared to Jack’s. While they were hired before the direct events of TF2, Jack was hired some time after the beginning of them. Ms Pauling and Durron come to a gothic little town which was notorious for their encounters with monsters and the supernatural. The town’s prized possession [and popular tourist attraction] is the grave of the last vampire that was slayed. He stalked the town and feasted on the population for years, residing in the dark castle over the hill that was burnt down during his slaughter. Whether he was dead or alive, the Administrator needed Jack, so Ms Pauling and Durron did some grave robbing!
Turns out Jack wasn’t killed but in a coma while he was buried and presumed dead. It was definitely a surprise to see that he wasn’t in his medieval town in the European mountains anymore but at TFI, and in front of the Administrator herself no less. Apparently, you aren’t just allowed to walk out of your job as a mercenary with no notice whatsoever and not pay the consequences for it. So Jack was begrudgingly hired once more to reprise his role as the Jack Class- for the rest of his immortal life.
One note: Maya was first brought in as a weapons engineer, repairing and testing anything that came in. But after the incident with Jack’s cloning, Maya was promoted to be the BLU Jack so that she could balance out the teams.

Begin by accessing the Microsoft Teams admin centre at https://admin.teams.microsoft.com/policies/app-setup.
Setting Up the App Policy
The first step is to create an app setup policy:
Sign in to the Teams admin centre: Once logged in, navigate to Teams apps > Setup policies.
Add a new policy: Click on Add and provide a clear name and description for the policy.
Include WalkMe in Installed Apps: Under the Installed apps section, select Add apps. In the search pane, type “WalkMe” and then click Add to include it in the policy.
Pin the App for Better Engagement: Scroll down to the Pinned apps section, click Add apps, search for “WalkMe”, and then click Add. For optimal user engagement, reposition the WalkMe app higher on the pinned apps list.
Assigning the Policy to Users
After configuring the app policy, the next step is to decide which user groups will receive the WalkMe app:
Return to the policies page: Go back to https://admin.teams.microsoft.com/policies/app-setup.
Group Policy Assignment: Select Group policy assignment > Add. Choose the appropriate Azure AD group. For organisations covering all employees, select a group that represents the entire company.
Apply the Policy: After selecting the group, choose the newly created policy from the list and click Apply.
Creating an Azure AD Group
To ensure that all relevant users are included:
Log in to Azure AD: Visit https://portal.azure.com/ and click on Groups.
Create a New Group: Choose New Group, set the group type to Security, and provide a name and description.
