Clingy and Cows chapter four

A/N So it’s finally here. Chapter four. It is sort of dry I’m not going to lie.... But I really just want to get to the good part lol. So here ya go. 

Laurie

The gang and I talk loudly for the next little while. I tried to include Harry into our conversations but he just wasn’t up for it; I knew what the problem was though, Harry had never interacted with people from the county and so he honestly didn’t know what to say.

“Harry, did you know that this side of Laurie existed?” asked Mike.

“‘To be honest, no. I had no clue that she could milk a cow or shoot a gun. I didn’t even know that she could grow plants,” remarked Harry”

“Harry, buddy, I have a whole ass garden that I take care of back in Utah”

“Really?”

“Yes, where do you think all the fresh produce and flowers come from? The grocery store that is like an hour away”

Harry looked at me sheepishly, “Yes”’.

“Wow you got yourself a good one,” said Sammy sarcastically. 

“Hey, Sammy we do not make fun of people” I said sternly “ just because he didn’t know one small thing doesn’t mean he isn’t a good boyfriend. Now apologize”. 

“Sorry Harry” 

“Any way, Harry and I should be heading back but if you guys would like to join us for lunch that would be amazing” 

“Yeah”

“Yes”

“Sounds good”

Harry’s p.o.v

“Love, you didn’t tell them what time” I stated.

“Oh it’s fine. They know when to come over”

I looked at her skeptically but then decided I didn’t care enough to ask anymore questions. We drove in comfortable silence all the way back to the house. Once we got out, Laurie pulled my hand to the little pen that held a cow. 

“Come on! Let’s pet him” Laurie said with excitement in her eyes. 

“Do I have to touch it?”

“No, but they actually are pretty soft. And their tongue feel funny”

“I don’t know”

“ Harry, just touch the fucking cow. It’s not going to bite I promise”

““But babeeeee” I whined

She walked into the pen and petted the cow whose name was Simon. Laurie was petting him and cooing when I finally decided to join her.. 

“Oh he is actually kind of soft”

“Yeah I know. When I used to spend summers here, it would be my job to feed the calves and they were always so freaking soft” 

“I actually would have never thought”

“Weird right? Anyway, we should probably get inside and start lunch”

We linked hands and made our way up the rock filled driveway. 

We stood in the mud room and took off our boots.

“Alright, so I was thinking we could do burgers. Obviously veggie for you and me. Then some coleslaw and watermelon. Sound good?”

“Yeah sounds great”

I got to work on making the coleslaw and cutting the watermelon, while Laurie cooked the burgers. 

“Babe do you want some music” I shouted through the open window.

“Yes please. Can you put on the Lumineers?”

“Sure thing honey”

Laurie’s favorite band was the Lumineers. She loved One Direction but always, always will favor the Lumineers music over ours.

I, I got a new girlfriend here

My train of thought was interrupted by Mike’s truck pulling up. 

Oh good they’re on time.

“Hey guys! Lunch is almost done. Go find yourself a drink” I called out. 

Jake walked up next to me, “Your efforts to tell us that are in vain, Taylor is already in the fridge”

“I figured”

I set the patties on a plate and brought them inside for everyone to eat. 

“Now, do you guys have the rest of the day to help me show Harry around? I would personally like to take him up the canyon and to the fish hatchery” I asked the gang. 

“I’m free,” said Taylor.

I heard agreements from everyone. 

“This is amazing. It’ll be so fun!”

Once everyone had finished eating, we cleaned up. The group knew their assignments; Sammy on washing dishes, Taylor on drying and putting away, Jake on wiping down the counters and table, Evan on sweeping, then Harry and me on putting away food. 

“Harry, can you go get my boots please? I need to assign four wheelers to everybody.”

“Yes ma’am”

“Sammy and Jake to the blue one, Evan and Taylor to the green one, then Harry and me to the red one. Sound okay to you guys?” I asked. 

“Sounds great,” everyone said. 

Just then Harry came back with my boots that I had left in the bedroom this morning. 

Harry’s Pov

“Okay so where exactly are we going?” I asked

“Ant Canyon. It’s a classic for our group,” said Taylor. 

“But first we need to get some supplies,” added Sammy.

“Ummmmmm supplies. What do you mean?”

“Like food, water, toilet paper, just some first aid stuff, and last but not least, gas tanks for all of us” said Evan. 

Sammy moved to get food for us while Evan got the toilet paper and first aid. Taylor and Jake went to get the gas tanks filled for all of us. And I was instructed to get the sun screen. 

“Okay kiddo, does everyone have their cellphones for the backpack?” said Laurie.

“Yes”

“Does everyone know where we are going?”

“Yes”

“Does everyone know what to do if one of us gets lost?” 

“Yes”

“Great let’s get going”. 

We marched outside to our assigned ATV’s which had gas tanks bungee strapped to the back.

“Laurie,” I whispered.

“Yes Harry?”

“How long do we plan on being gone?”

“Well the full ride takes just under 5 hours. Did you grab gloves?”

“Yes” 

“Good. Your hands get cold and achy after a while,” she said. 

We got on our four wheeler and off we went.

That was a stressful lead up to tribal. Richie was really trying to convince me to flip but it just didn't feel right. Why would il allign myself with people I've barely talked to and just trust that I'm not on the bottom? Of course I realize that Blake is a huge threat and needs to go before f3 or he will be the winner. I had a good chat with Tara and Lynn separately and we all agree that he needs to go. Hopefully it'll happen in two tribals from now since he has an advantage/immunity that can only be used at next tribal.

Hi yes Goodmorning. I woke up from my peacefull slumber and was INTERROGATED! TIM i guess was like ima ask who Blake wants  int the F3 and i was shook bc none o my allies were awake or off doing something to help me formulate a response... omg so just got back from hanging out w phoenix n had a bunch of fun! we watched love simon and i had to try not to cry like 5 times, happy tears tho. also ijust remembered like a couple rounds ago i said that i would get phoenix to buy me ice cream and he offered but i said no!! and now i realised it ruined my whole thing n yikes! i guess the offer counts? and he also bought me m'n'ms which i am eating now n they r delicious. also phoenix i just want u to know u that  i don't think of u just as an object to buy me things HAHHAHA fbdksf i REALLY ENJOYED HANGING OUT WITH YOU!!! and i hope we do it again sometime soon!!!!! sorry for forgetting u're lactose intolerant like twice. but ya phoenix was super fun. hopefully this is the start of a new alliance!! i think this round i'm going to vote tim bcos i feel like it'll make f5 a lot more cruisier and less stressful for me than having to rely on lynn not flipping on me or anyone else not flipping on me. hopefully eric can win immunity again so we can vote out blake. it was rly weird talking about game with someone face to face? and like planning about it and stuff. idk thank u phoenix for the fun day out!! also I MADE F5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i can't believe i did that!!!!!!!!!!!!! woooh!!!

I am so happy that I won two immunity challenges at once!! I chose the advantage hoping that this would be a good chance to take out Blake. Since I talked to Tara and Lynn about eventually cutting Blake out, I think this would be a good opportunity. I just hope he does not have some sort of advantage to screw this up...

So I lost the challenge and I'm not dissapointed in myself, Im just unhappy that I couldn't win the challenge when I most needed to. And now I'm in jeopardy.

So Eric pretty much nominated me and Blake up for elimination which sucks harddd. I guess I have new hope in the game. It sucks that he didn't just do Blake and Phoenix but I guess he considers us his biggest competition to win.

I am very frustrated that Tara is not willing to go for Blake. The things she's saying are making me think that she would rather keep Blake long term and is potentially just using me... Even with me voting Blake, the numbers wouldn't be there and I would be outing myself early on. I guess I just have to keep on winning immunity challenges and hope I am not being played.

omggg so the most awkward thign happened i tried to call tim bcos i felt rly bad that we hadn't talked all season and i genuinely rly like him n i just wanted to chat but he turned it into a plea session, idk why i didn't expect that, n then i just like waited it out until he stopped fkdfs and then he started talking 2 me about his day so yay but then he was like ok i'll go grab some food and i was like ok seeya tim sorry about everyhting n he was like so you are voting me? and i was like yaa i'm sorry and then it just got rly awkward and silent and he was just looking at his computer screen like looking like he was about to cry and it wasl ike FIFTEEN WHOLE SECONDS of like silence and oh my god. i am an awful person. i love u tim. i'm glad i voted him out bcos i don't rly trust eric all that much but it forces him to work w me now so he can vote out blake n lynn n then  i can hopefully take phoenix to f2 or convince eric to take me to f2. yayayyyay can u believe i'm here and i have a PLAN go me
