Good thing they'll be open for another hour and a half, so there's no rush to call. Last thing she wants is to be obnoxious and order a bunch of food from them fifteen minutes before they close. Working at Kitada sure taught her how annoying that could be. ( Ugh. The memories of that place make her shudder. ) Tory gives the lightest nudge to Brandon's shoulder. ❝ One day you're gonna fall head over heels for someone, and I'm gonna annoy the hell out of you for it. Mark my words. ❞

ㅤㅤㅤOh yeah, she'll be sure to pay him back for all the teasing someday. It's what any good sister would do. Or, she would like to think she's a good sister, but as she listens to him speak, she can't help but feel a little guilty. Truly, she hadn't thought her being gone all the time would be a big problem for him. Isn't that what every kid dreams of? Having plenty of time to do whatever he wants? Not having to put up with his annoying older sister constantly? But she thinks about how she felt at his age when their mother was gone so much, and Tory realizes, maybe he hates being alone as much as she does. ❝ I didn't know it bothered you that much. I thought you would like not having me here, ❞ she finally speaks after several moments. Tory's not entirely sure what to say or do to make it better. He's right; it isn't on purpose. Most of her time is spent at school or work, and whatever free time she has, when it's not spent training, is usually spent away from home. It's hard enough to balance the things she has to do with the things she wants to do. And somewhere in the middle of living her life, it seems like Tory's unintentionally neglected one of the most important people in it. ❝ I'm sorry, ❞ she touches the top of Brandon's shoulder. ❝ How can I make it less messy for you? ❞

"How  are  you  able  to  do  karate  with  that  kind  of  diet?  We  can  do  that  japanease  place  Mr.  LaRusso  showed  us.  I  liked  those  spring  rolls."  And  it  was  different  flavours  from  the  usual  they  managed  to  order  back  when  mom  was  with  them.  See,  life  was  different  now  and  not  as  scary  and  uncertain  as  it  used  to  but  at  least  then,  they  were  on  a  flight  or  fight  mode.  Now  it  feels  there  is  too  much  time  to  think,  and  with  school  still  being  closed,  Brandon  had  little  time  to  actually  distract  himself.  Which  sucks.  "You  totally  have  a  Robby  look.  It's  embarassing."  But  he  likes  Robby.  He  was  cool  and  he  seemed  to  get  it,  all  the  troubles  and  tribulations  and  he  promised  to  teach  him  how  to  skate  which  Brandon  thought  was  totally  cool.  "Sure.  Training."

 Brandon  is  not  an  idiot  either,  he  knows  what's  up  with  that.  He  swings  his  legs  as  the  koi  fishes  seem  to  just  follow  the  movement  and  go  along  with  it  as  she  sits  beside  him  and  he  is  ready  to  say  that  nothing's  wrong.  But  they  are  improving  here,  going  through  the  motions,  Mr.  L  said  that  talking  helps  so  yeah,  he  is  there  to  try  and  help  the  situation  be  less  complicated.  "I  don't  know.  You  are  barely  here  with  me  anymore.  And  I  get  upset  about  that  and  then  I  get  upset  about  being  upset  because  I  know  you  don't  do  it  on  purpose."  He  huffs,  head  leaning  out  as  he  fixes  up  his  hair  again.  "It's  a  mess."
