This luxurious child's car model type Bébé II was created in 2019 in Molsheim by The Little Car Company in association with Bugatti for the 110th anniversary of the brand. The Baby II is a replica of the legendary Bugatti Type 35, it retains the playfulness of the original Baby, revisited with 21st century technology. Frame n° 218 of the initial 500 created, ¾ scale of the original one, colour blue and leather seats.

Hand formed aluminium bodywork, Michelin tires, electrical engine that can go up to 30km/H, headlights, battery, horn, rear-view mirror, hand brake, adjustable pedal board, shock absorber. This model has never been used , delivered in its original transport case. 2,8 meters long and 1 meter wide.

Bugatti Baby II !

Jointly developed with The Little Car Company, the model draws inspiration from the original Baby which was a scaled-down version of the Type 35. 

The car was built by Ettore Bugatti to celebrate the fourth birthday of his youngest son, Roland. While the model was envisioned as a one-off, it proved so popular that it went into production and was sold between 1927 and 1936.

The Baby II is a 75% scale model.

Designed for people 14 years and up, the Baby II is available in three different configurations. The base model has a composite body and a 1.4 kWh lithium-ion battery which powers a rear electric motor. In Novice mode, the motor produces 1.34 hp (1 kW / 1.36 PS) and enables the car to hit a top speed of 12 mph (20 km/h). Expert mode increases the output to 5.36 hp (4 kW / 5.44 PS) and allows the model to hit 30 mph (45 km/h).

Bugatti Baby II XP1 Prototype, 2019. First shown at this year’s Geneva Motor Show as a 3D printed model, the production Baby Bugatti has been revealed at the brand’s 110th anniversary celebrations in Molsheim. Developed in partnership with The Little Car Company the Baby II is based on the Bugatti Type 35 reimagined with 21st century technology. To allow the Baby II to be driven by both adults and children, it is a 75% scale replica of the Type 35, and includes a sliding pedal box for drivers young and old. The electric rear wheel drive powertrain comes with two selectable power modes for drivers of different experience: a 1kW ‘child mode’ with the top speed limited to 20 km/h, and a 4kW ‘adult mode’ with the top speed limited to 45 km/h. In addition, for those enthusiasts who crave even more pace, some versions come with a ‘Speed Key’ just like the Chiron, which allows power of up to 10kW and disengages the speed limiter. Production will be limited to 500 cars, the Baby II will come in three specifications;

Each Baby II is 2.8m long and 1.0m wide. The exact weight of the car will depend on the version, but starts at around 230kg without driver. Prices start at €30,000 (plus taxes and delivery) and production begins at the beginning of 2020. The car will be manufactured by the Little Car Company in the UK, and all 500 cars will be produced over the course of 2020 and 2021.
