I’m having so much fun writing the prompts I’ve received! I am still open for them, though I have to warn that I’m writing entirely too much for the second one I’m tackling (@buildheroes keeps laughing at me when I share the word count with her in despair, it was supposed to be short) so it might be a few days before I get through them all.

@buildheroes pointed out that when Peter actually interacts with Steve, he’ll be coming at it from a place where they’re sort of equals but also he’s spent years  watching those Captain America videos at school. 

And just. can you imagine. Peter has seen them so many times, and he obviously can’t help but quote them at Steve. And the other Avengers are like wtf did Spider-Man just say to Captain America to make him do that face, and it turns out no one else knows about the videos, so Spider-Man is like ‘the galactic disaster can hold up a few minutes, IMPORTANT THINGS ARE ABOUT TO HAPPEN.”
