Kingdom Hearts x Shugo Chara Mash Up!

Following on from the Amuto inspired princess carry Aquaroth pic from a while back, I had this random idea to doodle Aqua and some others basing the poses off Shugo Chara screenshots.

-cough cough, I realised a bit too late the initial Aqua profile drawing wasn't done and just went lazy mode on that one, forgive me-

It's my first time drawing a lot of them so pls be gentle with me. ><"

I decided to just put the gifs alongside still frames bc I can't animate. So, you can just imagine it with me~

This anime was a big part of my childhood and a guilty pleasure of mine, I suppose - it has all the shoujo vibes that I enjoyed as a kid. (and still do now with certain things ( •̀ ω •́ )✧ )

This is not meant to be a KH/FF themed Shugo Chara AU (*￣;(￣ *)

As in, I'm not making an entire universe where the KH/FF characters replace the Shugo Chara ones and they have their own story or something. I just liked the cinematography of the first opening and wanted to do something with it.

That being said, I do see connections with Aqua and Amu; that whole thing of what you're expected to be and who you really want to be. Aqua, of course, always drowning out her own wishes to be "the good, responsible one".

But...yeah! This was fun. >w< Some of my art I'm just like ._. but oh well.

I apologise if it made no sense, hahaha

I'm definitely going to be doing some more Amuto scenes from this anime with Aquaroth in a similar style so if you're keen on that, stay tuned >w>

Detective Conan: 4/5/4 It's good but it's bad. It's shitty in a good way. It's my entire childhood. It makes no sense. How dare you disrespect such a classic.

Claymore: 1/4/1 The fanservice is almost more... female gaze? Idk I'm just here for the cool monsters and Aristotlean tragedy.

Attack on Titan: 0/3/5 Sorry AOT fans can fight me, I came here for the interesting character dynamics, did not need a Shippuden arc where everyone is older and less likeable.

Liar Game: 0/1/2 Giving it a 1A for that one panel of shirtless Akiyama and a 2S for the art style and nonsensical plot (also making Yokoya a Hitler fanboy for no reason?? Like it literally did not factor into his characterization at all but okay)

Shugo Chara: 6/4/9 It's magical girl shit. Whatever. I haven't touched it in nearly 10 years but it made me happy. I will say the concept is kinda cute.

i used to be a diehard bleur stan. like i had no involvement in the aitch pee fandom whatsoever but when i read the books as a kid i latched onto their ten pages of content bc the idea of the prettiest girl in the world stubbornly loving her werewolf husband bewitched me (and also i was just determined to love fleur in general bc jay kay are was an utter bitch to her via other characters). also really loved teddyvic bc i was briefly obsessed with their no fucks given childhood friends to lovers romance. other than that maybe kutau from shugo chara who were my first real otp and once again a couple who literally had two interactions that i obsessed over as a twelve year old before they got a full post-canon chapter confirming their romance that made me feel utterly vindicated

idk if anyone here is familiar with the all for the game series (horrid, should never have been published) but i coincidentally only cared about the romance between kevin and thea that was mentioned across maybe five pages. i once built an entire tragic tokka epic in my head based off of the fact that suki died prematurely and suyin’s kids looked eerily like sokka at times and bryke were weird about never revealing her father. trying to think of more ummmm SCYDIA. oh my god you have no idea what being a scydia truther in teen wolf fandom has been like for me “not all monsters do monstrous things” “lydia would never run and hide (because of stiles?) because of scott” and i went PSYCHO. last one i can think of is the weirdly deep emotional investment i have in the romance between jacob palmer and hannah weaver in crazy stupid love (2011) i watch that movie at least twice a year and am always obsessed with the tenderness between them

Oml anon,, where do I even begin... for starters I really enjoy luffy and robin <3 but also all of the supernovas, mostly hawkins and killer tho (my tastes are all over the place dw), penguin from law's crew, yes he only said less than 10 lines in the entire series, but I have no clue why I like him, ace and sabo

Uhhh corazon, he's a 10/10 human can't be beat, nearly everyone in the dressrosa arc, ulti and page one love them, etc etc

Honestly I can enjoy most of the characters to some degree even if they are the "bad guys" of the arc, it's just a feeling, marineford arc was amazing but wano is looking real good in the manga <3

Except the foxy arc, yes yes I get that it was the foundation and relaxing time before aokiji came in and the amazing enies lobby arc, but some of it was just painful. Foxy my behated, how did he even come back so many times??? And in a movie too??? That could have been an opportunity for an epic movie like gold or stampede, but nOOOO foxy go brrrrrr

I could keep on naming characters forever, it's been a series that's with me forever but I dont wanna talk too much, my childhood was wacky :0) I had digimon, mermaid melody and shugo chara in there too 😭😭
