Finally figured out a character's motives and he's just. So fucked. Local artist is spiralling because of an existential crisis over being invisible/wanting to be remembered and decides that any attention is good if it means people will notice his art, will notice Him, and maybe it's a bit of a cry for help, really, but wont you notice that his body is changing, that its being treated like a canvas for some eldritch entity? A human being should not look like that.
