I know that it is already September 1, 2022 in Philippine Standard Time, but it won't stop me from thinking about how Miku Hatsune/初音ミク and the Pines Twins (Mason/Dipper and Mabel Pines) have the same birthday, August 31, also known as the last day of Buwan Ng Wika (Tagalog: Language Month).

I could have been drawing these three in Filipinianas.

today is the first day of august, and i want to dedicate this whole month to celebrating the things i love and enjoy such as

i am declaring this entire month as AUGUST-IN to celebrate the man himself.

last month could have been JULY-ETA if only i didn't think of that 4 hours before july ended, but it's okay because i graduated and celebrated my graduation like julieta would have wanted me too. i'll celebrate julieta too as well as their relationship because it has brought a lot of joy while i was finishing up school.

so i can't wait to catch up on all the fanart and fanfic i missed while i was away !!

Filipino words for these three numbers alone extend to multiple Filipino languages. Isa is "one" in Hiligaynon and Tagalog, Duha is "two" in Cebuano and Hiligaynon, and Tatlo is "three" in Hiligaynon and Tagalog.

Because words for numbers go back since time immemorial, they also share roots with other languages in the Pacific like Malay, and even Fijian and Māori.

An initial set for 1 to 10 in Tagalog will be made for the @filipinofoodart project during Buwan ng Wika this August.

🇵🇷Me: It’s a nice tribute of having the Speedster Twins and Murukir to celebrate the day of learning Philippine language month. Good for them as they doing it knowing what they’re from; especially my P-Pal that someday I would practice doing Philippine language in the future.
