So I've only just recently started reading fics (I wanted to wait until I had watched the movie so I wouldn't get spoiled by anything), so this list is a bit smol at the moment—

The Best Man by herpatoidAcephalist

This is perhaps one of my favorite fics of all time, honestly. It's SO humorous. It doesn't have movie spoilers as it's kind of movie divergent, and pulls on some of the game lore. Anyway, it's sUCH a fun read I was CACKLING and I also was so emotional over some of these scenes it's—it's such GASPING moments! I adore and cannot rec it any higher.

Croco-dilly antics!! Junior (Bowser Junior that is) burns himself by accident. Luigi is there to help. Very short insight into a slice of life and how Luigi has imprinted and been imprinted on in the Koopa family (all of my wobbly eye emojis)

Now this next one I haven't started yet, but it's on my to-read list for this weekend. I've heard only good things about it:

The tags say "Pre-Slash" and "Enemies to Friends" so I don't think it ends romantical, but it's very much that "oh well we slice of life'd our way into this one boys" from the vibes I get. I can rec it better after I read it. :)

But man, Anon l've been trying to piece together a tutorial for the longest time but it's so hard because. I just. I just wing it and hope for the best. Sometimes I use references but sometimes don't.

Literally the only tips I can give are:

- Use references or your own hands as a reference

- Simplify finger joints from 3 to 2 if needed, it makes the shaping easier

- Keep finger lengths in mind (ie; middle finger tallest, pointer next, then ring. This can vary but this is the usual from what l've seen. Pinky and thumb are usually equal in length excluding the pad? of your thumb where

- Rememer that certain fingers will bend based on others (ie; bending your ring finger down to touch your palm will move you middle and pinky fingers as well)

- Grouping fingers together is completely okay

- Your palm is around the same length of your middle finger, your thumb reaches the middle of your index finger proximal phalanx

- Spread fingers are not parallel, they’re organic and they curve; joints also do not line up however that can be a stylistic choice

- The gaps between fingers are less of a V shape and more of a U but boxier

- The palm is generally a pentagon shape, so I’d use that as a base

the mattdrai prompt fic certainly intrigues me (all things mattdrai intrigue me)

I had a feeling it would!! So it's a prompt i took upon myself of this image that I thought would be really funny with mattdrai!

and I'm thinking like... drai's still a hockey player matty coaches a little league or something, i haven't worked out all the details.

Leon finds this on grindr and he's tempted, it sounds fun and over the course of their therapy he genuinely likes matthew, just silly goofy things!
