And one more question for Cagney. Your missing daisy is somewhere safe and still alive, and I hope you and your other locked up daisies get out safe!

F-14 FUN FACT OF THE DAY #54
VF-211 Fighting Checkmates had a tradition where they would paint their CAG birds in festive colors when they are deployed over Christmas. This was per the request of the squadron’s CO, Dave “Bio” Baranek. The chosen design was a depiction of the squadron’s mascot, Brutus, in a Santa costume accompanied by a red and green checker pattern instead of the typical red and white.

having Cagliostro in a gacha game and not turning him into an explicitly trans woman is....weirding me out actually. shifting the damn paradigm here folks. FGO, the genderbender game, just has Cagliostro as some guy.
Well, he's a Pretender, so let's see what his actual name ends up being.

It’s really funny to me that English-speaking Granblue Fantasy fans call Cagliostro “Cag.”
The “g” is silent…

F-14 FUN FACT OF THE DAY #67
Each F-14 Tomcat squadron was allowed to paint two aircraft in color. One of them would be the “CAG bird”, the aircraft that featured the name of the Commanding Officer of the Carrier Air Wing (also known as CAG) on the side just below the canopy. These aircraft typically designated by Modex x00 (ie 100, 200, 300, etc), but that is not always the case.
In the image below, aircraft Modex 213 of VF-213 Black Lions was designated as one of the two aircraft they painted.

HELLO!! puckpocketed on main here to ask What do you mean with those tags… what politics got in the way of Cagnoni getting a team canada invite..? 👀
ALSKSKS it’s uh me being a little biased because i watch cags and the hawks so much! but hc tends to be very married to their guys; if you basically don’t break into the national lineup when you’re 16 it’s a lot harder to get in as you get older, even if your play merits at least a camp invite — which cagnoni’s definitely did. this year’s hc team specifically was very baffling to me because it could not be more clear that they could have used more good puck movers on the back end and cags deserved at least a look at camp and an opportunity to play his way on! hc leadership of late also tends to fill by role/position instead of just taking the best players available, and they decided they wanted size and a heavier, more defensive style for their blue line overall. which uh how’d that work out??
