Top Colleges Through NMAT
Apart from NMIMS, there are many other reputed MBA institutes that accept NMAT Scores. Before we jump to the list of top colleges through NMAT let's learn more about NMAT.
NMAT, when compared with other MBA entrance exams, has the following advantages:
● Flexible Exam Dates: Unlike other Indian MBA entrance exams which are conducted on fixed dates; NMAT gives the students a flexibility of choosing the desired dates
● Three Attempts: With NMAT students have an option to re-take the test twice, in total 3 attempts. This gives students a chance to improve their performance
● No Negative Marking: Just like MH-CET NMAT too doesn't have any negative markings.
● No GK: Unlike SNAP NMAT has decided to exclude the GK section from their tests
● No Lengthy LR Questions: Unlike CAT there are no lengthy LR questions; this makes it a pure speed based test. A good speed with decent accuracy and you are sorted for this exam.
● Choose the order of your sections: This is helpful since the students can start with their strengths.
Well, now let's look as some of the downsides of NMAT:
● High Cost: Though it gives 3 attempts, the downside is that each attempt costs Rs.1700 (excluding taxes), plus there is a rescheduling cost of around Rs.1,000/-
● Time-bound: In NMAT one has to attempt 120 questions in 120 minutes, & this makes it a speed based exam

Shiv Nadar University, Greater Noida
Shiv Nadar University (or SNU) is a private multidisciplinary research university founded in 2011 in Dadri, Uttar Pradesh in India. Their Master of Business Administration Global MBA Program started in 2014. This year the cut-off score of NMAT by GMAC was the 60 percentile. The Aspirants need to appear for a WAT (Writing Analysis Test) and a personal Interview. Students required minimum 50 percentage in bachelors. 60 percentile was the NMAT by GMAC™ score cut-off for accepted students for 2016 intake. All admitted students are eligible to be considered for scholarship and/or loans as applicable from banking partners. The financial aid can be for the duration of the two-year program and cover tuition fees, hostel room charges, and boarding expenses. 60 seats are available.
