Karlie showing up at the Eras Tour! Taylor didn't spend long enough with either of the beards for "so long" to make any sense as being about them. How do you make a comeback when you're barely a thing to begin with? Karlie's comeback was headline news though.

Her football fan baby ("fly like a jet stream") is touching down and coming to sweep away the understudies, users, narcissists and clowns. King of my Heart coming to reclaim her crown! We can only hope 🙏

Taylor can rewrite history all she wants, but Tratty was never a thing and no-one with a brain can buy the idea that he was the love of her life ten years ago, while Kissgate was happening right in front of him. Peak Kaylor era. When we all saw with our own eyes how she looked at Karlie! But, no, it was Matty all along! Sure, Jan.

Meanwhile, even the "anyone but Karlie" Gaylors who hate her can't deny Taylor has been writing songs about Karlie for a decade now. Even they think she's not over her. So who "still" has Taylor's heart and could make a comeback? Mmhmm.

Alchemy is the process of turning things into gold. Are we really going to sit here and pretend this isn't Ms Gold Rush, Ms "it's like your eyes are liquor, it's like your body is gold"? Are we really going to pretend Karlie hasn't been gold coded since the beginning? But no! This is about Travis! Totally! Does your blindfold fit snugly enough, babe, or do you want me to tighten it some more for you? 🙄

The child's play is the bearding. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. It's getting so old to never grow up. Karlie is saying it all means nothing.

Her British beards have just been keeping Karlie's seat warm. While she and Taylor have privately been on a winning streak.

(Seriously, the construction of this song makes no sense if you believe it's about Travis. How could she have been "on a winning streak" with him, while "these blokes" were present-tense warming the benches? Or are we supposed to believe they're just waiting on the sidelines for Taylor to get back with one of them? Even though things are so great with 🚜 and she's said multiple times she doesn't want that? So . . . how is any of this working, exactly? What benches are they warming? Are we SURE the "we" is Travis? Hmm?)

"He jokes it's heroin but this time with an e"

People are so distracted by this "dig at Matty" they can't see what's right in front of their faces. Heroin with an e = heroine. As in, the female hero of a story. The joke is that the one to "save" Taylor won't be any of these jokers dressing up as kings. It's a woman. A HEROINE. Not a hero.

And then we get a football metaphor everyone will assume is about Travis, even though Karlie's love of football is well-documented. Do we really think Travis cares more about the beard he's made his meal ticket than he does about winning a trophy? Yeah, right. The days of wasted celebration with no Taylor in sight really give that impression. The thirst traps he was liking on Instagram while "dating" Taylor really show he only has eyes for her. Totally.

Meanwhile we have a million songs where Taylor tells us all her obviously-Karlie lover ever wanted was her.

I can't see The Alchemy any other way than as a Karlie comeback song. Bring it home, Karlie! We're all rooting for you! Go! Fight! Win! 🏆

I just said to mutuals today that PR strategy is so funny to me because these grown adults are playing children’s games. I don’t have the care or energy to track who follows who but it’s helpful that others do if we’re theorizing about what it means. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I suppose the time apart articles and now unfollowing/s are interesting timing. Are things snowballing or is the news cycle just dry? Let’s see. We know Taylor can perform with a broken heart but I imagine a breakup while she’s laying low is extra appealing.

One of the things that makes me think we're moving towards a coming-out again:

The sudden invocation of religious imagery on this album, and the sheer amount of references to it. For years, False God was the closest we had to those themes being touched on in any personal way - but The Anthology is FULL of them. I went through it track by track specifically listening out for them, and it was almost comical how heavy-handed she's being. Every single song it's sin and guilt and Christian judgement and Christian allegory 😂

I don't say this to belittle those struggles, or to suggest they haven't been real issues for Taylor. But I don't think that's where her head is at right now, so this sudden uptick of religious references in her music feels strategic. It's a move. And why would she need to establish religious guilt and judgement as something that is such A Big Deal for her and casts a shadow over her entire internal life?

She would if she needed something to point to, to "explain" why she stayed in the closet all this time. Taylor doesn't want to alienate her fans by saying "you were the reason" so this is her fallback. It's an age-old story, one fans can understand, that absolves them of any role in her closeting, and lets them convince themselves they would have supported her all along, if only they'd known.

I think that Post's character in the Fortnight MV is supposed to simultaneously represent both Taylor's inner self that she has to repress for the sake of her brand and Karlie tbh, someone else on Kaylor Tumblr noticed that there's some scenes in the MV where Post is wearing what looks to be a wedding band even though he's not married to his fiancee in real life yet and the only other time I can recall Taylor making a man who's not married in real life wear a wedding ring for a MV was in the outtake footage for the Lover MV that showed that Taylor had Christian wear a wedding ring for some of the scenes even though the version of the scenes that were shot with him wearing the wedding ring didn't end up in the final version of the Lover MV.

I suppose his character could represent Karlie. Someone here had a good post how Fortnight might be a letter to someone - maybe there is more to explore on that route.

It could also be simply that True Taylor is married. Most of the shots we can see Post Malone’s left hand, there is a ring on it. The only one I’m seeing, upon a quick search, where there is no ring is the road scene. Purposeful or continuity error? His hands are up close in this scene so I guess I’d be surprised if it were a mistake.

I've always thought and always told those close to me that if Taylor is CO, it will be her saying it out loud. Showing her as fragile, cornered and, sometimes, forced to continue with the farce. Whether in an autobiography or an interview or a documentary, as many thought she would do at Miss Americana (I only saw this year that a friend of the director said on Twitter that Taylor had completely changed the course of the doc at the last minute).

I say this because this is Taylor's only chance to tell her truth and not lose her career. Because then, she will be able to say how much she fought, how much she tried and SCREAMED through her lyrics, despite not being heard by many, and show the countless times that the old white men on her team, her former record label (and I believe SB) and the Swifties themselves and the world press put her in this glass closet against her will and she created this public figure TS™️ (The main character of the show who, like Truman, has his fake life commercialized), so she can still continue doing what she loves most in life. I think she will do it this way, to try to raise awareness in the world and especially in the monster that she unintentionally created (Swifties), so that they don't ruin her career forever.

That's why many, gaylors, swifties, swiftagrons, kaylors, press and many others had the feeling, for a good part of the Tour, that this was her farewell Tour. Because she started this tour as if it was the last time she would ever have the chance to step on a stage before speaking her truth. But that seems to have changed along the way... it seems like Tay is less apprehensive about the outcome of what she'll do next. More confident. I'm happy for her and looking forward to what's next. Especially with all the plaid she's been wearing the last few months. I think there are some Easter eggs in there. 🤔

I really don’t have a strong opinion on if or when a CO will happen but it’s interesting to read your thoughts so thanks for sending.

Side note: I used to selfishly clamor for a grand declaration but I’ve learned and grown a lot since then. My attitude now is just wanting what Taylor feels is best for her. I believe our corner gets winks and nods sent to our blogs because we are important to Taylor and her story. The sources want us to keep hanging on even if it means dragging the goal posts as we grip on to them for dear life lol. I don’t think they’d do this if there wasn’t a desire to one day have some version of the truth out there. Because it’s clear a lot of time is spent keeping a small group of us hanging on. I fear I am rambling but I will leave it at this - It feels like there is momentum building toward a potential CO. But we know the burn around here can feel very slow from our POV. I hope we can all temper our emotions, take breaks if we disagree with happenings, and ultimately continue watching how Taylor’s story plays out.

Saw many people upset about the last guy on the chiefs lyric change. I cringed myself. But then saw it mentioned that it was like Truman’s last "Good morning, oh and in case I don't see ya, good afternoon, good evening, and good night!" One last performance catchphrase before he exited the door.🚪 If so, the performance art was 🎯.

I guess the Truman connection only makes sense if we never see them together again.

Taylor's lock screen in bts footage. it's time to be honest with ourselves.

The picture on a Lock Screen in an environment where Taylor knows she’s being filmed and in an era where she is publicly bearding means nothing to me.

We all realize she very likely has more than one phone, right? It would be insane to me if she only had one phone. Hell I had a second work phone for the corporate job I left - total separation between personal life and work life on these phones. It’s wonderful because you aren’t constantly logging in and out of work and personal accounts, double checking if you’re sending emails from the right account, accidentally attaching a personal file to a work communication, etc. It’s a no brainer easy way to safeguard your personal life to some degree.

It just means nothing. We’re talking about a woman who can stand on a football field with millions of eyes on her and kiss someone she is in a contractual bearding relationship with because for whatever reason its the path she’s chosen for her future. Changing a Lock Screen on a work phone is cake compared to that.

Omg! That’s so funny, I love that cover and never put the dates together when the breakup contract was leaked. The cover was released six years ago in 2018 so I highly doubt it was about this breakup contract when she changed the date in the song. But maybe they picked 9/28 when they masterminded the breakup contract leak for the lore of it all.

Look we don’t know whose feet were actually getting onto the plane. How could we? But that’s not the point. The point is there was an article, probably pushed by Team Swift, that leads us to believe Taylor was getting onto the plane in ruby red slippers. It’s an Easter egg, narrative driver, etc. accomplished no matter whose feet those were. That’s the point.

And before anyone comes at me about how People is Taylor’s outlet…yes, it is. But Tree has more than one tool in her tool box. And it’s pretty obvious DM is Team Kloss’ outlet of choice so not a huge stretch here.
