TL;DR Version: The new California Raspberry Coke is the best Coke flavor I’ve tasted, while the Georgia Peach Coke is only okay. Full Review: I was on the drink aisle at Publix recently when I happened upon two new flavors of @cocacola, only sold in four-packs of glass bottles. The flavors are California Raspberry and Georgia Peach. I’m a huge fan of peach-flavored anything so I bought one four-pack of each flavor. I tried the Peach Coke first and was disappointed due to my high hopes. It didn’t taste bad, but it felt like there were two very distinct liquids in the bottle: Coca-Cola and peach syrup. I think I still prefer it to regular Coke, but it wasn’t anywhere near what I’d hoped for. Although I wasn’t as excited about the raspberry flavor, I was interested to see how it compared to the Raspberry Coke I always get from the Coca-Cola Freetstyle machines at restaurants. I was shocked by how much better it tasted. The raspberry flavor was as close to real raspberry as I could imagine a soda getting and it was seamlessly blended with the Coke to the point where I didn’t feel like someone simply poured syrup into a soda. This is easily the best job that Coke has done with any of their flavors and when I drink non-diet soda it will be this one to the extent it is available. It also has the same macros as regular coke (140 calories, 0g fat, 37g carbs, 0g protein) so there’s no premium for the upgrade.
