A friend gave me a candle-making kit for Christmas that included dye blocks, and dropping dye blocks into hot wax makes for a pretty awesome visual.

[ID: A short video showing a block of purple dye dissolving into hot liquid candle wax; the dye creates strange irregular scallop patterns at first.
