I guess my issue with Sara x Snart is that they did genuinely have a lil bit of chemistry in the pilot and then... nothing. Just a whole lot of talking, I guess, but nothing that felt even close to the flirtatious tension in the very first episode. It's like the chemistry just disappears after that. And then Sara meets her hot nurse in the 50s and tells Rip she hadn't felt anything romantic/sexual for anyone since she died and thought she wasn't even capable of that anymore, like okay?? So by episode 10 it's canonically established she has not had any feelings like that for Snart at all, and there's only five episodes left until he's dead lmao

Jax once called them a battle couple. It sounded silly when Leonard heard it, like something in a video game or comic book.

Then the Legends ended up on an alternate earth- one with a complete different history and different customs. The STAR Labs of that earth was willing to work with them to get them all home, but they had to find some rare materials in exchange so they could actually build the machine to get home. It wasn't the greatest set of circumstances, but he could deal with it. All of them could.

Everyone had split into teams, with Leonard and Sara paired together. They had gotten the case holding a specialized chip from some privatized company. Leonard rarely had issues stealing, but definitely didn't with this once after finding out the ugly history of safety violations and scandals that it had racked up. Sara similarly didn't have any issues. The security guards with massive gauntlets and crazy armor did.

"You go around, I take head on?" Sara said, hand wrapped around one half of her staves.

Leonard charged up his gun. "Better make it quick."

A half smirk shot his way before she took off. He followed, firing ice towards the floor of the one closest to him. As he did, one of Sara's staves was knocked his way. Leonard snatched it up, clocking the nearest guard across the jaw with it. As the guard went down, he saw Sara fighting closer with her single staff than she normally would when she had both.

He threw it her way with a shout. "Sara!"

She threw a glance in his direction and caught it with her free hand before returning to her normal style. Leonard fired his gun at the gauntlets and boots of the guards, slowing them down or stopping them entirely. Once they were all down, the couple took off running towards the rendezvous point.

Maybe this was what Jax meant when he said they were a battle couple.

like captaincanary could've been a great ship if they were given the time in canon

but nah, the sadness of cw ensemble shows is that we cant give too much time to the kinda spicy ships

but gah some of the captaincanary fics out there are among my absolute favourites

To escape the Vanishing Point, Sara and Leonard programmed the Time Master ships to play the same song they got into their 1st bar fight to in 1975.

That is so cute, especially for two characters who'd never considered themselves "cute".

I’ve gotten back on a Captain Canary kick recently, and I’m so sorry if I’m mistaken or if I’m bothering you, but I’m searching for a fic that might’ve been yours?

It was about the time when Sara died (the first time) and she kind of haunted Leonard as a ghost? Might be because they were soulmates, I don’t remember, but I remember Leonard called her Blinky and made a little circuit board with light switches for yes and no, and I also remember Sara going crazy trying to warn him about Alexa. And then she disappears (because she’s brought back to life), and I think the oneshot ended with them meeting on that rooftop?

If this wasn’t your fic I’m so sorry for bothering you, but if it sounds at all familiar to you, I would love to know what it was!

It's never a bother! I know I'm not super active in Captain Canary anymore, unfortunately, but I'm still here and I'm always down to chat!

Sadly, that was not my fic, but I do remember reading it and how amazing it was! Even more sadly, it would seem I never bookmarked it. I went and checked through a whole bunch of CC fics, all sorts of different filters on, and through some prompt collections of my mutuals, but I also can't seem to find it. I'm tagging all my CC friends here, if any of you wrote or know this fic, let us know! It's going to drive me nuts now and I would LOVE to read it again as well!

I loved this beautiful Legends Of Tomorrow fanart from CaptainCanary's ship especially because I appreciate it funny to see that Leonard was under Sara as if she had accidentally fallen on him and had become his landing cushion by accident but above all because even though Leonard died I'm still a big fan of them and I'm always going to do it
