because a lot of people might see the term EIHL and think what on earth is that i decided to create a little guide for everyone. it's just for fun but if anyone has any questions about it i am more than happy to answer any. I love yapping about our hockey league (i will say i don't know everything though)

Something I've been working on over the past season is collecting data for the EIHL and creating dashboards. This is definitely something new for me but a little project I've enjoyed doing. I will do this again for the 25/26 season and will add more to the dashboard. I'm thinking definitely penalties but not sure what else 🤔 (I've also been doing this for the NHL)

League:

Playoffs:

The way the playoffs work is that 1st will play 8th, 2nd play 7th etc. I personally am not sure about this format as it can disadvantage the lower seeded teams. However, the top teams need an incentive to win. It's hard to come up with something in a 10 team league.
