Jared pursued a degree in business after completing his education, and while still studying at Endicott College through night classes. He published his first book, during this time, "One Fan’s Story; If This Hat Could Talk." This was his early entry into the world of writing.

Carrabis was raised in a family of Red Sox season ticket holders, and we can easily understand his love for the team comes from childhood days. He caught the attention of local publications through his accurate analysis of the team. On sports shows, this earned him a regular spot.
