I have tried Attack on Titan & Neon Genesis Evangelion and neither were my thing. I don’t like the concept of Sword Art Online. I don’t like really bad body horror or kids in danger/explicitly being murdered/dying badly. I’m pretty well over zombies these days.
I like the Castlevania anime on Netflix. I like Hellsing. (Look, it’s a bisexual feast.)
My favorite anime ever is Casshan: Robot Hunter.
I fall asleep halfway through Akira every time I watch it.
I think I want to try Black Butler.
I don’t think magical girls are my thing but then the only real exposure I’ve had to it is Sailor Moon.
I’ve looked at lists today but I thought I’d ask Tumblr as well.
Digimon Adventure prequel movie: Prequel proof-of-concept movie of when the main Digidestined encountered their first Digimon. It's still sorta canon and I'm glad that they went with what they did in the actual series, but still good.
Guyver OVA p1: Another older version that I hadn't seen before and I wanted to try it. Definitely unafraid to be gory which made the action more tense.
Casshan: Robot Hunter: I liked the updated designs for everything and it was a quick but action-packed runthrough of the classic story.
