Big Oil faces a tiny foe on the streets of Asia and Africa. The noisy, noxious vehicles that run on two and three wheels, carrying billions of people daily, are quietly going electric — in turn knocking down oil demand by one million barrels a day this year. ... The global majority doesn’t roll on four wheels. In Nairobi and Hanoi, motorcycles serve as taxis. In Mumbai, scooters can carry a family of four. In China, electric bicycles are how millions commute. “Electric bikes are quieter, much more efficient and good for the environment,” said Jesse Forrester, the founder of Mazi Mobility, which has 60 electric motorcycle taxis, known as boda-bodas, on the roads in Nairobi. “There’s a quiet revolution now in Kenya driving this transformation for the future.” .... In Darbhanga, a new acid-battery rickshaw, like the one Mr. Rai drives, sells for around 175,000 rupees, or $2,100. That’s half the price of a new rickshaw powered by natural gas. Charging the battery costs 20 rupees (25 cents), one-fourth of the price of filling a gas tank. The rebates seem to be working. Reliance Industries, India’s biggest company, is converting its three-wheeled cargo vehicles from gas to electric. Food delivery services are going electric as quickly as possible.

Vespa SXL 125 vs Vespa VXL 125 Comparison
When it comes to scooters, Vespa has established itself as a renowned brand synonymous with style, performance, and practicality. The Vespa SXL 125 and VXL 125 are two popular offerings in the 125cc segment, each catering to different preferences. In this article, we will provide a comprehensive comparison of these two models, helping you decide which scooter is the better fit for your needs. From design and performance to features and pricing, we will explore all the important aspects to help you choose the perfect Vespa for you.
Tumblr media
Design and Styling
The SXL 125 and Vespa VXL 125 share the brand's classic, retro-inspired design language but with distinct differences. The SXL 125 has a more rugged, sporty appearance, with a matte finish and angular bodywork. At the same time, the VXL 125 leans towards a more elegant, classic Vespa look with its rounded, chrome-accented silhouette.
Tumblr media
Both scooters feature the iconic Vespa handlebar and front apron design, but the SXL 125 has a slightly more aggressive stance. It has larger 12-inch wheels compared to the 11-inch wheels on the VXL 125, which gives it a more substantial, grounded feel on the road.
Dimensions and Ergonomics
The SXL 125 and Vespa VXL 125 share similar overall dimensions, with the SXL 125 being slightly longer and wider. Both scooters offer a comfortable riding position, with a well-padded seat and a relaxed, upright seating posture.
The SXL 125 has a slightly taller seat height of 790mm compared to the VXL 125's 770mm, which could be a consideration for shorter riders. However, both scooters provide ample legroom and a spacious footboard for a comfortable ride.
Engine and Performance
Under the hood, the SXL 125 and VXL 125 are powered by the same 124.5cc, single-cylinder, 3-valve, air-cooled engine, producing 9.78 bhp of power and 10.11 Nm of torque. They also use the same transmission, with both featuring a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission).
The CVT in the SXL 125 and VXL 125 offers a more seamless and responsive power delivery, especially in stop-and-go city traffic.
Fuel Efficiency and Mileage
One of the notable differences between the two scooters is their claimed fuel efficiency. The SXL 125 is rated at around 55 km/l, while the VXL 125 is said to deliver approximately 45 km/l. This difference can be attributed to the SXL 125's more aerodynamic design and the efficiency of its CVT transmission.
The SXL 125 may be the more appealing choice for radio stations that prioritize fuel economy, as it has a fuel tank that can be refilled between fill-ups.
Features and Technology
The SXL 125 and VXL 125 have many features to enhance the riding experience. They both feature alloy wheels, a digital instrument cluster, and a USB charging port.
The SXL 125 offers additional features like a front disc brake, a larger 7-liter fuel tank, and a more premium, sport-oriented appeal. The VXL 125, on the other hand, has a slightly more classic Vespa design with a rear drum brake and a 6-liter fuel tank.
Pricing and Availability
In terms of pricing, the Vespa SXL 125 price is slightly more expensive than the VXL 125. The ex-showroom price of the SXL 125 in Delhi is around ₹136,601, while the VXL 125 is priced at approximately ₹132,725 (both prices, ex-showroom).
Both scooters are widely available across Vespa's extensive dealer network in India, making them accessible to a large customer base.
Conclusion
The choice between the Vespa Scooty in India ultimately comes from personal preference and priorities. The SXL 125 offers a more sporty, rugged appeal and slightly better fuel efficiency, while the VXL 125 has a more classic Vespa design and a lower price tag. Regardless of which model you choose, the SXL 125 and VXL 125 are well-crafted, reliable, and stylish scooters that capture the essence of the iconic Vespa brand. Test-ride both models and compare scooters in India to determine which best suits your riding style and needs.

FW-06_电斐科技丨FELO 斐兔 高性能电摩引领者
This is a perfect example of one of their companies that used to succeed and they're building these companies in trying to drop them. What we say is we're not sure why you're doing this when your people need transportation no we get that you want to stop people from getting around and you're annoying as hell so he says we really have to stop them and engage them on this front and we know you have to get around your islands and we're going to make sure you suffer and you'll be doing it here but a lot louder and you'll be stopped a lot faster we're going to pass the limit on the time thing and you need out and then we'll keep you from leaving the islands and we'll see how you feel about that is your dog s*** we don't need your ships over here.
We're going to take over this company and you're going to be really upset because it's not a bad idea a lot of people who ride scooters say they can't tell it has a motor and they'll be good at it and it has a scooter set up on the top it's a great idea it's just like the electric kind of small truck idea you had for bicycle and he says that electric would be great on something like that but an actual electric and we agree I guess kind of sucks and the biggest reason is it's hard to get downtown we can take a whole fleet of these delivery vehicles and they'd be like box trucks or they can be tandem and you could have box trucks that are tandem and put them in the garage and charge them and they do it all the time in the downtown area they have trucks and the store with gas and it's dangerous and there haven't been that many fires but there are and it's horrible you lose all your stuff and the building these could catch fire but not as easily and if you use the right batteries it won't at all and I'll tell you there's some real advantages to using that system you can drop off the trailer and have them unloaded and come and pick it up and do it like three at a time and it takes a lot less effort and time is no time sitting around and you're going to make a lot of money delivering things and it's great for like pieces pizza and things like that you can pull over in the alley and go up and deliver it and come back down I mean it's just a real blessing and this guy doesn't get it he's an idiot and he says he wants the batteries and he's not willing to make that many and he's an idiot f****** moron they're used for stuff and you don't get it you just keep doing things okay sweetie. His father's bikes go there actually pretty nice looking and they look electric and it would work and we want to take it over and find him is interested and we said good you remembered it says yes we need a middleman and we need to executives and they said we're going to have to do this and truth is we really have to there's no doubt about it so this will keep it going in India I believe it's or Pakistan or something probably both and there's other companies that are like it and we can slowly increase the distance and the charging facilities would make money and the price of that would come down pretty drastically to compete with your house but the way the mileage is set up and set up to have this charging stations and we get that and they'll try and keep the price up and we don't think so it'd be like half gas and it's not bad it would work it's a way to do things anytime confusing stories with it and so forth and he says we should have a bunch of stand alone because people who do the electric don't want to do it near the gas and sometimes it's true he should pull in just a gas tank that's true too and you can do both but really people don't like it this Sparks and stuff so you have to have it in a different part of the gas station but as a gas pump and it's a good idea we like it this is a great start to the day and to explain the math is a great idea too. And yeah this neighbor guy is a jerk and we have a lot of stuff to do so I said the damn way he is always in the damn way we need him out of the way
