Escape From Belletown is a forthcoming book by me, Finn E. Vermillion. It is about magic music boxes and a curious, caring, and loving thirteen-year-old girl named Charlotte who becomes cursed to destroy them by her grandfather, Charles Srad.

One of my favorite things about writing is that even when I’m feeling unmotivated, my characters are still there in my head. I think about them and different dialog with them and it reminds me why I write, because it’s fun.

And also because I’m the only one to tell their tale.
