Body Helix Knee compression sleeve review! Disclaimer: I received a Body Helix compression knee sleeve as part of being a BibRave Pro. Learn more about becoming a BibRave Pro (ambassador), and check out BibRave.com to find and write race reviews. I was excited for this opportunity as it opened up just as I started feeling some discomfort in my right knee. I’ve added more spin and computrainer classes to my work schedule and personal workouts, to help with my IronMan Training. I love compression socks and tights that I’ve used in the past for long run training and races, so was happy to test the sleeve out. When I first opened the package, I thought the sleeve might be too small or feel tight, but I watched their video on putting the sleeves on and off, and it went on smoothly and felt comfortable. It seems like a heavy material, but its breathability is great, as it never felt too hot. I tested it out under my running tights and went to work, and forgot I had it on, so kept it on while teaching my spin class. I have to say, I was impressed. I also wore it while teaching my bootcamp classes, as I’ve added lots of squats, lunges, and more drills. I’m happy with how it feels and excited to report I haven't felt that knee discomfort I had last month. You can machine wash and dry, but I prefer to hand wash and hang dry, as I’m hoping to have it last throughout my training cycle. I’m going to wear it on all my long runs and as I add time on my bike trainer, just to make sure I keep that knee discomfort away, or at least better with the extra support.
