We’re trying to think of a new slogan to go with in Edinburgh, insha’Allah. Something like “What am I doing here?” with the theme of confusion involved somehow. Just something snappy to get people thinking about their purpose without it being overtly about religion. Give us some suggestions, insha’Allah!

Allahu Akbar!!! Brother Analdino accepts Islam in Brazil at the World Cup.

Analdino met us in San Bento, he had visited the a Mosque before in another city called Brasilia and he found it a very spiritual place, after a brief conversation and we gave him the Quran to read. He took the Quran and kissed it twice.Then we said goodbye and parted.

After a little while we changed the location of dawah and went to another area. There we met him again and this time after a brief conversation he took shahada with John Fontain. He was so happy to come into the fold of Islam and he said Muslims are the best and he gave a special message to other Brazilians about Islam, watch out for the new video coming out in the next few hours in-shaa-Allah.

One of the biggest issues leaving society confused today is not knowing who God is. This is mainly due to the amount of corrupt definitions of God available in the public, from Thor, to Zeus, to both Kanye West and Eminem labelling themselves as “Gods”, many of us have either given up on God completely or are left with a misconstrued understanding of who God is. I present to you God in the most logical and rational sense yet. Ten minutes of your time that would only benefit you if you were truly sincere to find out the truth.

What is wrong with this world!?  As a niqabi myself, I feel so sorry for all the sisters in this world who are facing violence, threats and even have to pay fines just because they want to have the right over their own bodies. NO ONE has a right over my body, except Allah! I sometimes get threats, people say they want to burn me, beat me, and they spit on me. They told me to "get back to my home country" - without realizing that I am probably more home than they are ( as I am a scandinavian woman growing up in a "normal" atheistic household). I know sisters who gets attacked even more often than me, whilst being pregnant and whilst walking with their baby.  Dear world, please let me dress as I want to. No I am not forced to wear it! It is a pleasure for me to wear it. I feel modest and liberated. And no I am not wearing it because I am extremist or an islamist. Or actually, I am an extremist - extremely nice and kind and yes I am an islamist, if that means that I follow my religion Islam. And no I am not wearing it to make you feel uncomfortable or to provoke you.

You have the freedom to live your life as you want it - so why can't I?
