Headcanon: Yoonho & Jong-In's scents

Baek Yoonho - Pomegranate Noir by Jo Malone

Daring sensuality, encapsulated in scent. Ruby-rich juices of exotic pomegranate, spiked with pink pepper and laced with Casablanca lily. Warmed by temptingly-smoky guaiacwood and patchouli. Dark and enigmatic.

One of Baek Yoonho’s exes bought this scent for him because (1) Yoonho likes pomegranate, and (2) it really does smell juicy, and Yoonho is, well, thick and juicy. The fighter likes this cologne, which is a little fruity and a tiny bit floral, because he has a sweet and soft side. The spices and musk add complexity; Yoonho secretly wants people to know there’s more to him than meets the eye. He’ll never admit to any of this but lets the cologne express those hidden sides of himself. If you ask the White Tiger guildmaster why he wears Pomegranate Noir, he’ll just scowl at you and say, "Because I like it. You saying you don't?" When you stammer, "No, it's nice; I was just asking," Yoonho will huff as if he's annoyed. Secretly he is very pleased by your compliment.

Choi Jong-In - Broken Theories by Kerosene

Broken Theories opens with a notable smoke note, warmed with tobacco and brightened with blood orange. The smokiness settles into cozy and subtly sweet blend of vanilla bean, oud and sandalwood.

Choi Jong-In wears Broken Theories because it complements rather than covers the smell of smoke that often clings to him, and tobacco as well. (Choi Jong-In is a chain smoker per canon, but as a romantic lead, he's only allowed to enjoy the occasional cigarette.) Jong-In is cunning by nature, so he wears a scent that aids his manipulation. The citrus scent is rousing enough to command attention, and the vanilla, oud, and sandalwood are seductive and soothing. The fire mage made a Hunters Guild employee bring him several scents that met certain criteria until he found Broken Theories. Sometimes Jong-In will put on a little too much of the cologne to assert his dominance over the people around him.

So, if you're reading my Jinwoo x Yoonho and Jinwoo x Jong-In fic (mdni), now you know which scents I'm describing. Sexy, sweet, and cozy in their own ways, perfect for nuzzling.

Yoon-ho is a single father to his four-year-old daughter, Mi-ho, after her biological mother left her with him and since his only job is a firefighter, he often leaves Mi-ho under the care of Jin-woo and Hae-in, who had a son named Su-ho for her to play with.

Then, when Yoon-ho and Mi-ho are in the grocery store, Mi-ho gets lost all of the sudden. She starts crying, only then to have a man approach her and calm her down. Mi-ho and the handsome, rich-looking man walk around the store together in search of her father.

Once Yoon-ho found his daughter, not only he becomes surprised that his little girl is with a stranger, but the said stranger is Choi Jong-in — his ex.
