haha ohh it's becoming apperant that no matter what I do, I have too many things on my mind and table to finish works faster than weeks apart 🥹 as much as I'll try cause ugh my brain works faster than my hand...

but anyway, not that this is even a drawing pfft- I was in a funny mood and saw some awesome photoshop with victorian photography to create sci-fi settings. and then I remembered that I really wanted to create an atmosphere where weston college was actually shot like a British school film in the 50s. sooo I got a lil goofy and brought out the photoshop again. it's never perfect, it's just fun for me to mess around hehe.

also I will have to apologize that this is like the only piece I will make where I recommend to not zoom in. all the images I could find were very small.

so yea I had to do something very weston before my brain moved onto the next thing on my mind- the midfords :> c'yall next time then!

From the way CloverWorks interprets Harcourt’s suffering and how it was framed, his moaning, down to the Viscount Druitt’s words. Those little things that in the manga are glossed over, forgotten and or ignored bc it is followed by some comedy. It is the way Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler works. Either you like it or not, ignored or acknowledged.

Lau was called Ramen because fo the screentone on his outfit.

Dagger was called Tarou Kuidaore (A clown character from a restaurant in Osaka) because of all his stripes.

Grimsby was called Parakeet bc his hair looks like a parakeets crest.

Maurice was called criossant because of his hair.

Redmond was called “Prince Hotel” because the start of “Red Prefect” (in japanese, Aka = red and Puri is the start of prefect) sounds like “Akasaka Prince Hotel”.

Clayton was called Pomade because “he looks like he uses it.”

Grell was called Shark because [her] teeth are shark teeth.

William was called Takaeda (I’m not sure what this is referring to, if you know please lmk😭) and his middle name is whats left of the nickname

Ronald was called hamburgaler beacuse he looks like a Mcdonalds character

Sullivan was called Sally-chan because shes a witch (I believe they’re refrencing the old anime “Sally the Witch)

Wolfram was called Yaa-san because he says “Ja” a lot (pronounced like “yaa”)

Okay I need y'all to stick with me for this one (please keep in mind, I'm not far in the game, so my judgement is mainly based on initial vibes and aesthetics):

Heartslabyul: Lawrence

Savannaclaw: Herman

Octavinielle: Clayton, Cheslock

Scarabia: Soma, (later Joanne)

Pomefiore: Maurice, Edgar, Joanne (later transfers to Scarabia)

Ignihyde: Gregory

Diasomnia: Edward

Some yapping notes:

-I took it upon myself to make some custom uniform designs to suit the characters when necessary. Mainly based on the characters personality I like what I did with Somas.

-Clayton was difficult to sort, but I decided Octavinielle was the right choice surprisingly. I think his whole spiel would be that he lies a lot to the freshmen and tells them of all sorts of ridiculous rules that do not actually exist. He is smart, but he's also a little shit.

-Soma and Kalim would get along SPLENDIDLY (Praying for Jamil)

-Gregory is a digital artist who sticks to old timey electronics (wired headphones)

-Edgar is Vils older Cousin or something along those lines. I think Edgar smothers him a lot. He's very proud of Vil and his career, but often takes playful little jabs at him.

-Idk why but Maurice would have red streaks in this universe. Also a BORN and RAISED Pomefiore student. He often helps Vil with his makeup and feels right at home.

-Joanne is one of those very rare transfer cases. He got into nightraven at a younger age because he had a lot of knowledge in magical practice, but needed to put it into practice. He was sorted into pome, but quickly felt suffocated by the environment there. After a lot of back and forth, he transferred to Scarabia. I think it's suits him since he's pretty booksmart and Soma and Kalim are super nice companions for him (also, Jamil desperately needs a dorm mate who's more down to earth)
