Founded in 1622, in the city of Bleakmore within the Realm of the Porphyral Vale, The Esoteric Order of the Second Death, or the Ordo Secundi Mortis, was a secret society of wealthy and influential Untamed Spellcasters experimenting in the Black Arts of Necromancy and, later discovered, Forbidden Invocation. Spearheaded by Vladislav Straud, a world-renowned Necromantic Caster and Count of the Westrein-Broassau region of Eshuavania, The Order of the Second Death grew to great power, rivaling the authority of the Hall of Arcane Knowledge by the year 1690, due to their vast legion of soldiers comprised of the reanimated dead bound to their control. Count Straud as the Head of the Society was believed to have been long deceased during this most prosperous era, having passed the Order of the Prime Magus to his grandson, Vladimir, according to documents archived by Hall of Arcane Knowledge Historian at the time, Finchwick Charm. The true identity behind the alias of Vladimir, however, was the key to discovering that The Ordo Secundi Mortis had begun to delve much more deeply and recklessly into dangerous warlock magicks, particularly a ritual involving the summoning of Lilith, the mother of all demons, whom the Order revered as "Mother Night" or Mater Noctis. Trading the souls of their sacrifices to Lilith as their patron, tapping into magic no mortal was ever meant to perform, the Ordo Secundi Mortis struck a deal with the source of their Dark Power that would grant the Highest ranking members of the Order perfect immortality, intending to use this gift to their advantage as they plotted to wage a war against the Hall of Arcane Knowledge and overthrow the Council of The Four Sages.

The Story of Vlad/Vasteus Straud
A long time ago there existed a great Warlock known as the All Sage. His name was Vasteus and he was [Sir Patrick Stewart Voice] a Hero.
But every Kingdom must start with a king. And that was, Adam of Tredony, became King Adam of the Kingdom, Vasteus his most loyal servant.
Now, story goes that Adam went into a great war, and Vasteus scryed his downfall. So, Vasteus turned to ancient dark magic to save his king. And he did save his king, but doomed their entire kingdom.
When Adam returned, he was no longer King Adam, nor the young Hero, Adam of Tredony. He returned and killed his loyal Allsage and destroyed his kingdom, creating a new 'kingdom'.
Adam of Tredony became Duke Adam Tenebris, and by his side was his eternal (vis)Count Vladislaus Straud.
Whatever happened to Adam and the Allsage is question for discussion. Some believe the Allsage accidently turned Adam into a vampire, and the first vampire in turned the allsage into a creature of the night. Some say he indeed killed the all sage, and Vladislaus was among the settling party and became a victym of Adam.
No one truly knows.
But story goes, that when the young settlers moved into the duchy, among them were Vladimir Vein, Inna Cents and the twins Elle and Jezebel Blanche. Story goes that both Adam and Vladislaus fell for Inna, and Vladislaus did not like that Inna chose Adam instead of him.
Story goes that Vlad murdered Adam and Inna, and turned the others into his unwilling servants.
Of course this is the story.
If you ask me.
I personally believe, Vladislaus was Vasteus, the allsage, and the ancient most loyal servant of his king, did not appreciate at all, that his king ditched him from some childish girl with nice tits.
Because why else would the great Vladislaus be obsessed with getting into the Realm of Magic only to steal the Legacy of the Allsage, when vampires cannot use magic?
That's a lovely story, little witch. You could write a novel with it. But don't quit your day job.
I'll tell you what the Grand Master Vampire wants with the Allsage's legacy.
Power.
No.
No?
Like I said, vampires can't use magic. You, however, can. You already have that power.
You want something else.
And what is that?
Your reflection back.
...
You want your face back.
You've seen it?!
Oh yes. You got the eyes right.
