Emma leaves the Gourmet area to walk around the park by herself. Kuchen is not with her since he seems to be very busy. She arrives at the Water area, where she recognises a number of familiar voices.

Searle/Elma: WHEEEEEY!!!

The two are playing in the pool with some of the federation staff. They notice Emma, and while Elma asks her if she’s enjoying herself, the other invites her to join them. She politely refuses, so the two men go back to swimming. In the meantime, Yamane is yelling about the story of a man who vows to reunite with his lover and heads out into the ocean; the promise is never fulfilled and-

Emma: …This is not the sea. We’re in a pool. (Same energy as “sir this is a Wendy’s drive thru)

A guest is calling out for someone to come serve him. Emma goes to call for Elma and Searle, but they seem busy trying to talk the federation staff into picking up surfing as a hobby. Stella appears, remarking that there’s no helping those two. Still, he believes it is better to let them play like this rather than force them to help. Emma asks him if he’d like to take care of the shop with her, which he consents to.

As Emma is dealing with the customers, two of them ask her if surfing really is fun as they heard from Elma. Emma answers positively, but before she can continue the conversation-

???: Oi.

Emma: Ah, yes, welcome- Huh, Daste!?

He thought he heard a familiar voice and asks her what the hell she’s doing. Emma tries explaining herself, and Elma and Searle come into the picture.

Daste: Here comes the Noisy one.

Elma: Wah, Daste! It’s been a while! Did you come to surf?! Then, let’s go-

Elma: -Or not! Emma-chan! I’m REALLY sorry we made you handle the shop!!

She doesn’t mind; after all, all these people are genuinely interested in surfing. A customer agrees, and Emma asks Elma if he can guide them.

Elma: Eh? ‘Mma*?! Sure-sure**! Then, we’ll explain it to you! To the pool, C’mon!!

*His nickname for Emma

**He says “mochi mochi” as in the slang/cutesy abbreviation of “mochiron”= for sure

He thanks Emma and then the three leave. Daste sighs; isn’t she supposed to be the one treated as a guest today? After a short pause, she admits it, then moves on immediately to ask him why he’s here. No particular reason, apparently: he just happened to be nearby.

Emma: ……….Is that so.

Daste: ………Hey, clerk (Emma). It’s an order. Give me some alcohol. Two glasses.

Emma asks him if he isn’t suddenly drinking a bit too much out of nowhere, though obviously, he wants to drink together with her. She goes to get the drinks, saying she’ll keep hers alcohol-free; upon her return, the two toast with their drinks

Emma arrives in the Magical area, where Gui invites her to try out the healing magic. Platina says that if they advertised the area as the genius magician’s (Est) shop, they’d be making a lot of money; Emma argues that the Grateful festival is not about money. Not tol far off, Est, Kai and Shion are applying the healing magic on some customers; Est explains that healing magic is something that according to Belgas Third Magic Theory- no nevermind, that’s too complex, he admits. In front of a confused customer, Emma chimes in explaining that it’s a mix of wind and light magic. According to Givres, the light magic in question is used to create a gentle warmth, like sunlight filtering through the trees; at the same time, the wind magic envelops the entire body in the soothing scent of flowers.

In the meantime, Sion is telling Kai that his magic just now was too strong, and he should control it more. Kai argues he did it due to the customer’s sensibility to the cold: it will work better in the long run. Sion argues back that this is not his clinic, and since he’s an ambassador, he shouldn’t step out of line and exaggerate. They keep bantering.

Kai: You…. You’re always so full of words, ain’t you? Hah?

Emma and Mateo shut them up. Oboro observes how she always needs to take care of them after all. Gui apologises.

Emma can finally take a small break. Navi appears, lauhging and asking if today really is the day where she should be entertained. As always she’s doing too much. At first, Emma laughs, but in her fatigue, she notices something curious. A faint heat in her chest. When she puts her hand on her softly-beating heart-

Someone comes in to block the afternoon sun.

Aoi: I’ve finally found you.

I feel it is most strongly a XIX, with the second strongest type it has relevance to being the XIV. This is one of those wonderful swords that defies modern attempts to categorise it. It is a strong reminder that medieval sword makers, and those from the renaissance did not have the Oakeshott typology on their minds when going about their craft. The sword has a straight, double-edged blade grooved at the centre, with a tip of lozenge section, rectangular tang with three grooves and two stamps on both sides. The hilt is partially gilt and silver-plated, with “S”-shaped quillon decorated with silver dots on golden ground and edges are shaped as lion heads. The shell-guard has six segments, at the margins are oval cartouches featuring the effigy of soldiers, while the pommel features warriors enclosed in a oval surmounted by a mask and dragon heads on the sides. The wooden grip has silver wire binding and moor’s heads.
