Fujisaki sighs as there was work to do on the oak desk. There always seemed to be work to do. The previous night was one filled with a terrible dream that Chihiro would rather not get into for fear of being laughed at.

It was more than a simple dream, it felt all so real but once Chihiro had Alter Ego scan the internet it put the mind of the programmer at ease.

Well, it could be a premonition. Yet based on the data available it seems just like a bad dream. Junko is busy working on some project in a rural village i was able to extract from pinging his cellphone.

I think i'm just overreacting...

Then there was a knock on the door as Fujisaki comes up to answer it.

Waking up in her bed the cosplayer yawns. It feels as if she had been asleep for a long time. She felt a bit of a pounding headache. Tsumugi goes to take aspirin from her bathroom blue eyes land on her smartphone with the dull hum of the incandescent lightbulb filling the room.

She was waiting for some sort of response from it. Swallowing the pills in seconds she puts on her glasses. Spinning around Tsumugi leaves her bathroom and walks into the rest of her house to finish getting dressed. Slipping on her shoes and jacket Tsumugi Shirogane exits her home and begins her daily walk.

Natsumi looks over a crib, the baby was so silent it was almost like it wasn't real. The baby boy shivered a little so she covered him up. Little Akira Shinzouka was the lifeblood of the new Shinzouka syndicate with 60,000 men at the ready. Natsumi wore a large wedding ring encrusted with a golden dragon with the diamond in its maw. Natsumi is wearing a pink Kimono with blood red high heels that easily sold for hundreds of dollars.

The last two years of her life hadn't been easy but she had finally accepted her lot in life just like her mother as property of her husband. Shinzen ruthlessly played politics that more or less dissolved the Kuzuryuu's as a viable clan in the underworld. The wedding was more of a capitulation than anything. Natsumi sighed as she made sure her son was safe before exiting the room.

I need some damn change in my life. You know, i think i'll take that walk out to the veranda.

She says as she takes some sake laid out for her. Then, without much warning one of her bodyguards comes into the room.

Ma'am we've captured one of the people from an establishment that isn't paying protection.

Natsumi downs her drink as she motions for the other to bring the poor unfortunate soul to her.

The former Ultimate Maid never really celebrated her birthday so today was just a normal day. For most of her life she was dirt poor and with no family to give her gifts birthdays had been passive affairs where she legally aged with no fanfare. This time, in 2024 it was different she could afford to have a cake and if she was lucky some friends would show with gifts. Akane was relaxing on a couch in her bedroom while wondering how today would go.

The detective finished putting up the old portraits of her family. She sighs as she looks out the window, snow slowly falling onto the ground from the green stained sky.

Like Aurora Borealis....

She mused to herself as she moved towards the window. Yui could feel a mental tug towards the past where she came from but chose to ignore it. Wafting from the kitchen was the smell of hot chocolate being made on her stove; she reaches for her phone and scrolled through her contact list until she hovers over a certain name.

It's been a long time...i don't know if i should go through with it.

Yui sighs and sits down on her chair, taking her ruby red glasses off of her face and rubbing her temple gripped with indecisiveness.

Event: Novoselic in Turmoil

Sonia decided to reach out to her old classmate and former crush Gundham Tanaka, the odds were stacked against her in Novoselic she feared and there was none on the planet she trusted more than him. Her complex web of problems emanated from the October ‘22 peasant revolution that toppled the centuries old government for 7 weeks dealt a near fatal blow to the state; nobles killed, Landlords killed, many ministers exiled to foreign lands and some of the revolutionaries made off with significant portions of the treasury. The only thing keeping the petite kingdom from collapsing was Sonia.

The amnesiac Silver haired woman arose from her bed with a yawn while her Ahoge drooped before it also rose. The throbbing in her side that she had when she went to be had subsided. Sora slipped over to her mirror where she raises her nightgown to reveal the 3 pink gash marks on her side which looked like claw marks though not from any mammal she was aware of. Thankfully it looks to have healed with time but how much time it had been was a mystery to her.
