dijdjs yeah its my major! ☺️ just gotta finish my internships and im certified! but yeah not to say it’s deserved or like “part of the job to be abused” but like. 90% of the time when someone goes to see you as a social worker they’re living one of not The worst day of their life so you just need to be prepared for lots of emotions and maybe even some irrationality. It’s part of the job to not take anything personally or let yourself dwell on it. this is getting wordy lol but in short, it’s a job that deals with a lot of different sensitive things and Real Peoples Lives so it can be really emotional and difficult for the person you’re working with and you just need to be ready for that.
