Regarding an official statement, Viz Media on Friday tweeted “Check back August 12th at 5 am (PDT) for the OFFICIAL news”. For those who want to re-watch One Punch Man in anticipation for season 2, Toonami will be giving the show an encore run beginning this week at 2:30am ET.

In Sword Art Online news, Aniplex will be hosting world premiere events for season 3 in Japan, the United States, Australia, France, Germany, Russia, and South Korea. Additional details for these events are still to be announced. While the episode count for Project Alicization is still to be determined, the season premiere set to air in Japan this October will be an hour long episode. For those headed to Otakon this week, Bryce Papenbrook and Cherami Leigh will be hosting another SAO panel on Saturday, so be on the lookout for some potential news regarding the franchise there.
