Welp, now you're just projecting and being histrionic and getting upset at someone daring to disagree with you. No, of course you do not have to like everything she does. And no, you don't have to put her on a pedestal (which you never have done btw). You don't have to validate everything she does. You can go burn her merch and hate on her all you want- it's your damn blog after all. But what you shouldn't do is be critical of her in ways you aren't of other players, especially If you truly 'STAN EVERYONE". Call out ALL players who aren't telling everyone's stories, or who dominate the airspace. Be fair in your assessment and don't be afraid to ding your faves. Laying it all at Sue's feet, like she's the only one guilty isn't fair. But whatever, you obviously don't like being called out, so I'll stop.
Also...kinda super weird you're from Seattle, have personal connections to her, and so dislike her. It's like someone from the bay area hating on Steph Curry. Did she like refuse to sign an autograph for you or something?
I don't dislike Sue. I just don't put her on a pedestal like you do because she's a human being.
Sue has a media platform. Candace Parker has one. Chiney Ogwumike has one. Sheryl Swoopes has one. Obviously there's Lobo. Seimone Augustus is building her platform a little with that book she just put out. Now Diana Taurasi has a media platform during the final four as a favor to her bff Sue.
Lobo's an announcer and we know she has a UConn bias. Out of the rest of those players, I've seen Candace and Sue cover the tournament the most. Chiney and Diana were at that Sports Bra watch party but all they said was "cool bar" basically.
I criticized Candace Parker when she didn't write Tennessee in as the champions in her bracket. I criticized Sue when she didn't wear husky gear to a UConn game. I have the same type of criticism for both players. Be loyal! Be a diehard alum! Forget about upholding media expectations! You can't just get apathetic about UConn and Tennessee like that! I respect players who have a bias towards their own school. But Candace Parker's South Carolina bias and Sue Bird's Iowa bias are just weird. It's just a weird energy.
A lot of other players I stan don't have media platforms. Kelsey Plum, Natasha Cloud, Courtney Williams, Arike Ogunbowale, Kahleah Copper. Do I always agree with these women? No. Sometimes they say or do stupid shit. But does it matter that much? Not really. They're not members of the media.

"Stroud's Heroics Seal Victory: Houston Texans Stun Buccaneers in Thrilling Final Seconds"
In a remarkable display of talent and determination, C.J. Stroud led the Houston Texans to a stunning comeback victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Stroud's record-setting performance as an NFL rookie quarterback propelled the Texans to a thrilling 39-37 win on Sunday.
The game started on a positive note for Houston, with Stroud orchestrating an impressive drive that culminated in a 14-yard touchdown pass to Nico Collins. However, the offense struggled thereafter, particularly in the running game without Dameon Pierce, managing only seven yards on seven carries.
Despite facing challenges and enduring hits throughout the first half, Stroud remained productive with 15 completions out of 23 attempts for 157 yards and one touchdown to Collins. The Texans trailed at halftime but experienced an offensive resurgence after the break. Stroud's exceptional performance included setting an NFL rookie record with 470 passing yards and five touchdowns, including a long scoring connection with wide receiver Noah Brown.
Meanwhile, one of the standout stories of the day unfolded on special teams. Kicker Ka'imi Fairburn suffered an injury early in the game, leading running back Dare Ogunbowale (who had soccer experience in high school) to assume kicking duties. Ogunbowale played a crucial role by sinking a go-ahead field goal in the fourth quarter.
However, it seemed that victory slipped away when Tampa Bay managed to score a late touchdown and appeared poised for triumph. But then came C.J. Stroud's defining moment—leading his team downfield for 75 yards in just 40 seconds before finding Tank Dell for the game-winning touchdown.
With this incredible win pushing their season record to 4-4, the Houston Texans will now face off against the Cincinnati Bengals next week as they continue their journey forward.

Running Back Roulette in Tampa
Running Back Roulette in Tampa
Tampa Bay seems to have the perfect team set up for 2020. They’re returning two of the best wide receivers in the game, Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. They drafted a stud offensive lineman to help boost what is a growing and improving front five. They are bringing back a defense that played a heck of a lot better in the second half of the season than the first half of the season and a defensive…

The BUCS SIGN Leornard Fournette | CBS Sports HQ
Tumblr media
youtube
Former Jacksonville Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette has found a new home, as ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Wednesday night that the former No. 4 overall pick had agreed in principle to a one-year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Buccaneers were always considered to be one of the favorites to snag Fournette, even though they have plenty of depth at the running back position. With Ronald Jones, Dare Ogunbowale and rookie Ke’Shawn Vaughn, the Buccaneers weren’t a team expected to scour the market for running backs, but that’s exactly what they have done this offseason.
