Žádná akční řežba. Žádné hloupé dialogy sesmolené někde na koleni a napsané na umaštěný papír. Matthew Vaughn se pustil do zfilmování populárního „marveláckého“ komiksu a stvořil bezpochyby ten nejlepší díl. Po tragickém třetím dílu a ujetém snímku, kde měl hlavní roli Wolverin, je čtvrtý x-menovský film (není to pokračování, dějově se odehrává před předchozími díly) příjemným osvěžením.
