Hey. Have you ever seen dazzle camouflage?

Its a wild strategy that was used during WW1 and WW2 to make ships harder to pinpoint, so that the enemy wouldn’t be able to properly aim their projectiles. I’m not entirely sure how it was supposed to work, but it does look cool as hell is hot. There’s also a lot of pretty paintings of these sorts of ships:

Anyways, I think it’s a really pretty and striking kind of pattern that isn’t usually seen in the modern day beyond, apparently, painting new models of test cars and inspiring disruptive patterns that confuse face recognition technology. And now I have a desperate urge to make something in this pattern…
