my partner and i were duo queuing deadlock and i got put in a solo lane 😔

i’m notoriously bad at farming but i think i did pretty ok. i don’t think the difference was ever over 1k souls and i ended up surpassing him easily after laning phase.

plus i was dynamo against bebop so he couldn’t really do anything to me while i just played back. which led to him roaming which led to me taking his guardian for free. and then i reunited with my love and we won the game 🫶

Abrams:

1. Abrams: "Heard you've taken over the black market."

Obitus: "Cleaning it inside-out is more accurate."

Abrams: "If you ever need any extra hands feel free to contact me."

2. Abrams: "Why didn't you call for help when your husband died?"

Obitus: "I didn't want bloodshed. I wanted inevitable suffering."

Abrams: "And did you get what you've wanted?"

Obitus: "No, that was just the beginning."

3. Obitus: "Do you think it's right? Bringing my husband back from the dead?"

Abrams: "None of the maelstroms brought him out yet?"

Obitus: "No, it hasn't made contact with his grave. I never conversed with him about it even when he was still alive."

Abrams: "You think he'd be mad about it?"

Obitus: *chuckles* "He'll certainly call out my hypocrisy."

Bebop:

1. Bebop: "Heh, you remind me of Ms. Shelly."

Obitus: "How so?"

Bebop: "You're surprisingly calm when faced with death."

Obitus: "I've accepted it as is. Especially since I see it daily."

Bebop: "Doesn't that make you less affected by death?"

Obitus: "No. Because every death makes me learn new things about people."

2. Obitus: "I've heard of Ms. Shelly's condition. Have you thought of life after she's gone?"

Bebop: "I haven't." *deep sigh* "It... pains me to think about it."

Obitus: "I understand. If you need any guidance, let me know."

3. Obitus: "I like the way you look. Ms. Shelly truly built you with love."

Bebop: "Aww, don't make me soft before battle."

Obitus: "It's nice to give a boost of confidence before battle, don't you think?"

Dynamo:

1. Dynamo: "Woah! Doctor! You've... certainly changed?"

Obitus: "Really? You're saying that to me?"

Dynamo: "The last time I saw you, you weren't dressed as creepy!"

Obitus: "Last time I saw you, you weren't breaking rules of physics by being condensed into a literal star."

Dynamo: "Touché."

2. Obitus: "How's Marlow? Everything good?"

Dynamo: "Everything's great, despite my condition and all!"

Obitus: "I'm glad you're both happy. Don't forget to cherish your time with her."

Dynamo: "That's why you're here to help! So I can see her again!"

Obitus: "Pft, yeah yeah I guess so."

3. Dynamo: "How's your husband doing? I haven't seen the two of you in years!"

Obitus: "You... don't know?"

Dynamo: *concerned* "Don't know? What happened?"

Obitus: *sigh* *shaky* "I'll tell you what happened after this is over."

4. Obitus: "Professor, do you have a moment?"

Dynamo: "Sure! What do you need?"

Obitus: "Could you ask Marlow for her key lime pie recipe? It's... really freaking good."

Dynamo: *laughs* "Only if you give her your tiramisu recipe. Deal?"

Obitus: *tongue clicks* "Fine."
