Happy Deathpuss week! Chap 5 of “A Favor for a Life” is up now~ 😎

Chapter summary: Puss awoke feeling well-rested, but didn't bother to open his eyes or stretch yet; hoping to fall back under and get in just a few more minutes of precious sleep. But then he heard what sounded like paper rustling off to the side. Confused, he opened his eyes and looked over, only to be met with the sight of “¡Sangre de bestia!” a wolf who was not supposed to be there.

puss is demon disguised as a priest arrived on a little church on a little town and there he saw...a dog that's way too nice and 2 beautiful nuns..... Heheh maybe he can tempt them to sin with him, just a little fun Little did he know, the nuns, kitty is secretly a demon hunter....and the other one.....

basically Puss wants to tempt the nuns but the nuns are sus with him and as they try to figure each other out and pretend to play along to avoid each other's suspicion

also death's "you're not a good boy" comment at puss is inspired from this post

Homespun Vessel

"Hey, Lobo! I got your parts!"

Death raised his head from the open bowels of his vessel. Puss in Boots glided in and landed beside the wolf with a flap of the leather wings Death had crafted for him. There was some beautiful irony in watching his creation come to life.

"Not as fashionable as my cape, but they’re very cool," the cat flaunted his wings. "So yes, I will help you upgrade your boat."

"Good," Death smirked. "You will be more comfortable when you ride it."

"Sure, eventually."

"How much for these parts?"

"One kiss," Puss winked. "Or thereabouts."

Flowers From Your Ashes

A good day to die, and a fine time for gardening.

Wasn’t it convenient that Death used sickles for work?

To add insult to injury, the cat died by fire this time. The flowers in the wolf’s lungs withered like all the sunlight and water had just vanished from the world. They were dry when Death spat them out and cut their stems. Orange and red gladioli, like the previous six times.

Death knew Puss in Boots would revive, and so would the cut blooms in Death’s lungs.

Another three lives for the cat to waste.

Until the last harvest.
