This weekend was all about travel for Bollywood. While Aishwarya Rai Bachchan stepped out in that semi-sheer Nedret Taciroglu gown in Paris, Alia Bhatt flew to London in easy-breezy khaki separates. Deepika Padukone returned from her getaway in a casual tee, Kriti Sanon caught her flight out of the city in a simple black hoodie dress, and Neha Dhupia was seen at Mumbai’s arrivals terminal in a grey midi that deserves a spot in everyone’s monsoon wardrobe. Deepika Padukone proves that the jeans and tee combo never gets old

Always on the go, Deepika Padukone is one Bollywood star who has mastered the art of airport dressing. While you’ll see the actor jet-setting in comfy leggings and cosy sweatshirts sometimes, other occasions will have her boarding flights in statement-making jackets and even bodycon dresses. But one look that Padukone keeps coming back to is the classic T-shirt and jeans combination. There’s no missing the time she flew out of Mumbai with little sister Anisha Padukone, twinning in that Levi’s T-shirt and denims. In fact, the same look recently won Parineeti Chopra’s vote too. For her latest flight from Hyderabad to Mumbai, Deepika Padukone gave the casual outfit an interesting new spin by making subtle changes. The actor stepped out of Mumbai airport late at night wearing a relaxed V-neck T-shirt, tucked into roomy flared jeans. Padukone wore the look with white sneakers (a big Bollywood favourite this year) and a dark brown sling bag. Round-framed sunglasses and stacked bangles completed her look. Beauty wise, Deepika Padukone let her glowing skin breathe by skipping on makeup, and went for a fuss-free and practical low bun.

If rumours are to be believed, Deepika Padukone was joined on her Hyderabad-Mumbai flight by Ranveer Singh’s parents. Fans of the couple believe the actor joined Singh’s family to celebrate his 33rd birthday on July 6. However, for her most recent travels, the star opted for a Medium by Riddhi Jain sari in a bold shade of yellow. What made her latest on-the-go look even more interesting was the sari’s shaded pallu. Dia Mirza’s drape went from mango yellow to green and then to royal blue.

Keeping in mind her love for comfortable outfits, Dia Mirza wore her sari with a simple white sleeveless blouse that featured no embellishment at all. In fact, her sari didn’t include a border either, and the star wore the fuss-free outfit with minimal accessories. Actress Kangana Ranaut, who was last seen in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s ‘Panga’, is one of the most controversial actresses of Bollywood. She often takes a dig at Bollywood celebrities and she even went on to call Karan Johar as the flag bearer of nepotism. Well, not only Kangana but also her sister Rangoli Chandel keeps on tweeting about these celebrities on her Twitter account.

Today, Rangoli shared pictures of Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt from their respective holidays and took a dig on them.

She expressed her thoughts on how these Bollywood couples disclose their holiday location when they visit places like Europe or America. But when they go to ‘cheap’ places like Bangkok and Sri Lanka, they prefer to keep it low key.
