#theres literally no excuse for not expanding the L to hoboken and secaucus#you can run like easily AT LEAST 24tph through a new hudson tunnel#literally solve your capacity issues as you run into them (by expanding to one of americas busiest stations)#like london is erring on expanding the tube to clapham junction because of potential overcrowding at Kennington#but thats only because the northern line hasnt been deinterlined yet and the battersea branch doesn't have the spare capacity on the#charing x line
