Jak wydłużyć czas działania laptopa na Dell 6MT4T Baterie do laptopów?

Każdy użytkownik laptopa chciałby, aby jego bateria trzymała jak najdłużej. Niestety nie ma jeszcze laptopów, który wytrzymywałby 20h ciągłej pracy bez podłączania ich do kontaktu. Przeczesałem kawałek Internetu w poszukiwaniu najlepszych porad jak zoptymalizować czas działania baterii i dziś zaprezentuję rezultaty swoich poszukiwań.

Znalazłem wiele stron, z różnymi pomocnymi wskazówkami i postarałem się przetestować większość z nich. Niestety większość bazowała na zwykłych domniemaniach i nie miały żadnego podłoża dowodowego, więc tych tutaj nie przytoczę.

Rzeczywistym kluczem do zwiększenia czasu działania baterii jest wyuczenie w sobie pewnych nawyków przy pracy z notebookiem.

1. Jasność ekranu. Bez dwóch zdań jasność ekranu jest najbardziej prądożernym elementem notebooka. To właśnie ekran "wysysa" życie z baterii. Zmniejsz jasność ekranu do absolutnego minimum. Przy moim HP?ku jest to poziom 35%. Zmniejszenie tej wartości przyczyniło się do znacznego poprawienia czasu pracy o ok. 25–30 minut. W Windows Vista możesz dostosować jasność przy pomocy Centrum mobilności w Panelu sterowania.

2. Urządzenia zewnętrzne. Karty PCMCIA, pamięci flash itp. zużywają dodatkowo energię nawet kiedy ich nie używasz! Jeśli masz podpiętą myszkę — odłącz ją i korzystaj z touch-pada. Odłączając takie urządzenia od notebooka zyskujesz kilka minut dłuższego działania Dell 6MT4T Baterie do laptopów.

3. Wiele zadań naraz? Nie! Im większą ilość zadań wykonujesz w jednym czasie tym większy jest pobór mocy. Nawet przy nowych, energooszczędnych procesorach z dwoma rdzeniami. Dlatego bardzo ważna jest wentylacja by utrzymać komputer w dobrej kondycji.

5. Zamknij nieużywane usługi. Większość z nich jest domyślnie uruchamianych podczas startu systemu a prawda jest taka, że przeciętny użytkownik Windowsa około połowy z nich nie potrzebuje. Takie aplikacje działające w tle tylko zmniejszają ilość wolnych zasobów, zwłaszcza te, które ciągle coś skanują i uaktualniają (nie licząc programów antywirusowych). Usługi możemy wyłączyć poprzez wpisanie komendy services.msc w Start > Uruchom (alternatywą będzie wpisanie msconfig i przejście do zakładki Usługi). Jeśli jesteś niepewny, które z nich wyłączyć, pomiń ten punkt bądź poproś znajomego by Ci pomógł. Warte wyłączenia są usługi typu (jeśli oczywiście ich nie używasz): Google Desktop Search, QuickTime, Quick Play, Google Update Service, Centrum zabezpieczeń (Vista), HP Health Check Serivce, HP Service, NVIDIA Display Driver Service, Usługa udostępniania w sieci programu Windows Media Player, Cyberlink RichVideo Service.

6. Hibernuj. Zauważyłem, że zostawienie laptopa na 8 godzin w stanie uśpienia zużywa aż 10% energii! Wiem, że miganie diody też wlicza się do poboru energii, ale nigdy nie podejrzewałem, że usypianie tylko "kosztuje". Hibernacja jest o wiele lepszą opcją niż Zamykanie i ponowne uruchamianie systemu gdyż to trwa zazwyczaj o połowę szybciej i pobiera znacznie mniejszą ilość energii.

7. Kondycja dysku twardego jest bardzo ważna, jeśli chcemy skrócić czas ładowania aplikacji i wydłużyć życie Dell 6MT4T Bateria do laptopa. 9. Stanowcze nie dla filmów z DVD oraz gier. Oglądanie filmów z DVD na laptopach jest miłą rzeczą, ale również zabójstwem dla baterii. Odłóż te nośniki na półkę i przerzuć się na oglądanie filmów z poziomu dysku twardego. To samo tyczy się grania w gry. 50 minut grania jest równe aż 2 godzinom zwykłej pracy!

10. Harmonogram zadań. Co jakiś czas Windows uruchamia zaplanowaną wcześniej defragmentację dysków bądź też skanowanie w poszukiwaniu malware (Windows Defender w Vista). Sprawdź czy niektóre z twoich aplikacji nie robią tego samego w czasie twojej pracy na Dell 6MT4T Bateria do laptopa. Jeśli nie możesz tego ustalić z poziomu programów zobacz aktualne zadania w Harmonogramie zadań. Znajdziesz go w menu Start > Programy > Akcesoria > Narzędzia Systemowe.

Chciałbym jeszcze wspomnieć o pewnym ?problemie?, na który narzekają użytkownicy laptopów z systemem Windows VISTA. Pewna ilość osób twierdzi, że interfejs Aero oraz Pasek boczny systemu Windows znacząco skracają życie baterii. Otóż udało mi się znaleźć odpowiedź lecz tylko na w pół dobrą. Z testów przeprowadzonych przez Nick?a White na blogu Windows Vista Team Blog wynikło, że sam interfejs Aero konsumuje od 1 do 4% całkowitej energii, co i tak dla mnie nie jest zadowalającym rezultatem. Zaś pasek boczny i gadżety to inna sprawa.

Gdyż każdy gadżet inaczej działa i może wykonywać mniej lub więcej zadań w tle.

By jednak zadowolić wszystkich, z pomocą przyszedł nam autor programu Vista Battery Saver. Kiedy odłączamy laptopa od prądu, program automatycznie wyłącza interfejs Aero oraz Pasek boczny.

Mam nadzieję, że dzięki moim poradom uda się wam wycisnąć więcej energii z waszych Dell 6MT4T Baterie do laptopów. Jeśli macie jakieś dodatkowe, lepsze porady, napiszcie o nich w komentarzach.

I needed an inexpensive, lightweight, and small laptop to carry with me for basic web browsing and connecting remotely to work and this laptop has been perfect for that.

One thing I liked most about this laptop with battery like DELL Alienware M17X R4 Battery, DELL 6MT4T Battery, DELL G5M10 Battery, DELL 7V69Y Battery, DELL R9XM9 Battery, DELL 8V5GX Battery, DELL WYJC2 Battery, DELL Latitude 3150 Battery, DELL Latitude 3160 Battery, DELL Latitude E5250 Battery, DELL Latitude E5450 Battery, DELL Latitude E5550 Battery is the fact is has 4GB of memory. Most laptops in the same price range as this Dell Inspiron only have 2GB of memory. Believe me, you do NOT want to buy any Windows 10 computer with only 2GB of memory. Period! You will thank me later.

Some reviews talk about the laptop being slow and not having enough disk space. That's expected! It's not meant to be fast or have enough disk space to store very many programs. I actually think the weaker specs are a benefit of this laptop. The fact it has a low-end Celeron CPU and uses eMMC flash memory instead of a larger HDD (hard drive) results is much less power usage and thefore this laptop has VERY long battery life.

To compensate for the lack of disk space, you can always buy a MicroSD card and Windows can be configured to use the SD card to store all your Windows 10 apps and other documents. If you have a large program that can only be installed on the C drive (many Win32 legacy apps have to be) then you may run into disk space issues but this is a limitation of almost any computer in this price range. To help save disk space, I decided to not use 3rd party anti-virus software and uninstalled McAfee which freed up some disk space. Windows 10's built-in anti-virus (Defender) is now a viable option to use instead of installing a 3rd party anti-virus program.

If you feel the laptop is very slow, remember that when you first boot up the laptop it will be installing lots and lots of updates the first day or two you have your computer. That will make it feel slower than usual for a while.

Overall this laptop does everything you can expect for a laptop to do in this price range. Highly recommended!

Specifications of the Windows 10-based Latitude 5285 2-in-1 include a 12.3-inch full-HD (1920x1080 pixels) touch display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, and a choice of seventh-generation Intel Core processors (with U Dual Core or vPro options) coupled with Intel HD Graphics 620. The base model ships with 4GB of 1866MHz LPDDR3 RAM, going up to 16GB on request.

As for storage, Latitude 5285 2-in-1 users have a choice of up to 256GB M.2 SATA SSD, up to 1TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD, or up to 512GB PCIe OPAL M.2 SED. The tablet section features an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Ports on the tablet include two USB Type-C ports, one USB 3.0 port, 1 microSD card reader, 1 Micro-SIM slot (in some models), and a port for the travel keyboard.

The Latitude 5285 2-in-1 tablet weighs less than 910 grams and measures 292x208.8x9.76mm. That’s right: With the gift-giving season in full swing, we found the version we tested, with a Core i5, GeForce GTX 1060 Max-Q GPU, 8GB of DDR4/2400 RAM and 256GB SSD, for $949. Here are more details.

CPU: Core i5-7300HQ. This is a 7th-generation Kaby Lake CPU with its Hyper-Threading permanently turned off. For most traditional gaming, a quad-core without Hyper-Threading suffices. Dell also offers a 7th-gen Core i7 option.

RAM: 8GB of DDR4/2400. There’s just one memory module in the Inspiron, so it’s operating in single-channel mode rather than dual-channel mode. This would be more disappointing if there weren’t a discrete GPU. We’d also prefer gaming laptops to offer 16GB of RAM, but it’s an easy upgrade (more on that later).

GPU: The star of the show is the GeForce GTX 1060 with Max-Q. We’re not sure why Dell isn’t making the distinction clearer between a Max-Q part and a full-on GTX 1060 GPU. Given the strong results from our test unit, it’s not the compromise we were expecting, so why not crow about it?

Display: When we reviewed this laptop’s predecessor last year, we didn’t like its atrocious TN panel. Fast-forward to the present day, and the 15.6-inch display is now an IPS screen—but a decidedly mediocre one. While still better than a TN panel, our review unit’s display had a dull look to it, probably influenced by the low maximum brightness of about 230 nits.

Even if most large laptops sit on a desk 90 percent of the time, we still want to know how long the battery will last. In this case, we’re glad we checked.

To measure the Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming Laptop, we played a 4K video file using Windows 10’s Movies & TV player. Normally we’d set the brightness to 250 to 260 nits, but this laptop’s screen maxes out at 230 nits. That’s a bit subpar and one of the few drawbacks in an overall nice machine.

You’d expect a dimly lit display to help the laptop last longer, but we got just five hours of video playback. While that time is in line with what the Dell XPS 15 and the Alienware 15 R4 delivered, both of those laptops were run at 250-260 nits’ brightness, and the Dell XPS 15 uses a power-eating 4K touch display. The Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming Laptop is doing less with less.

Even more puzzling is comparing the performance of the Inspiron 15 7000 that we reviewed earlier this year, which pulled down nearly 8 hours of run time. That’s pretty amazing, but it also had a dimmer screen (and TN), so we can’t explain the disparity here. Just remember to pack the power brick.

However, only 4 GB of working memory and a slower 500 GB magnetic hard drive are found in the EliteBook. The price of HP's laptop is considerably lower than that of our review sample. Lenovo's ThinkPad lineup has always been considered a mainstay in the business sector and should not be omitted just for this reason. We added the Lenovo ThinkPad X240 to our round. Lenovo offers a speedy Intel i7-4600U, 8 GB of working memory, and 250 GB of storage for a steep 1850 Euros (~$2189). Asus' ASUSPRO Advanced BU201LA takes the first place in the total rating among our comparison devices. The business laptop costs just 800 Euros (~$946) but also sports weaker components than Dell's Latitude. An Intel Core i5-4210U, 4 GB of working memory, and a 500 GB storage device explain the price.

The 65-watt power supply is never completely exhausted. It requires an average of just 29 watts even during load. A rate of 45 watts was only temporarily reached when the stress test programs Prime95 and Furmark were initiated. Thus, the power consumption is lower than that of the rivals. It does not look much different in idle mode. Our review sample is not particularly guzzling with 3.6 - 7.7 watts. All contenders consume only 0.1 watts in standby, which is half of what Dell's laptop requires.

There are three battery options available in the Latitude E5250 lineup. In our case, Dell's laptop sports a 3-cell, 38 Wh battery. However, we could read out a slightly higher capacity of approximately 40 Wh. A 4-cell, 51 Wh battery is offered as an alternative.

We use the Battery Eater tool for determining the maximum possible battery runtime. The screen's brightness is set to minimum, all communication modules are disabled, and Windows energy-saving profile is enabled for this. The Reader's test, which simulates reading texts, recorded a runtime of 10 hours and 46 minutes.

We browse via Wi-Fi for testing a real-world scenario. The brightness was set to roughly 160 cd/m² and all communication modules were enabled. Dell's laptop shut down after 5 hours and 31 minutes. Lenovo's device lasts 2.5 hours longer and can almost manage a whole workday without its power supply.

Our review sample achieved a runtime of almost 2 hours when we set the brightness to maximum and ran Battery Eater's Classic test.

Dell's Latitude is generally within a good range. Potential buyers should consider opting for the 51 Wh model to turn the Latitude into a real office machine. Dell does not yet state a price in the configuration process but only describes it in the spec sheet.

All in all, Dell's Latitude E5250 scores very well. Many options that would turn the device into a business machine are only available for a surcharge, though. Buyers with the necessary wherewithal can configure a great 12.5-inch laptop. Anyone with a clear price limit should take a look at the competition.
