I’m surprised there hasn’t been a major “Deltaplayer” AU in the style of Underplayer, although considering the Red Soul might already be a stand-in for the Player I guess it’d be kinda redundant

Delta has a habit of mimicking the characters, they wish to be more like them and this has included eating moss and chalk.

They can safely say they LIKE moss, chalk....not so much.

Undertale: ANOMALY:: THE ANOMALY

A boy so utterly enraged by Chara highjacking the end of the genocide route that his rage manifested itself inside the game with the sole purpose of torturing Chara over and over. He has been doing it for so long that he forgot his own name, and the person who unknowingly brought him into existence has moved on. Him and his Chara have been battling over and over for around an uncountable number of years. He does let Chara win sometimes. He’s not unfair that would be ,in his mind, hypocritical. Chara didn’t give him a chance but he would like to think himself merciful. But don’t underestimate him, due to his intangible nature ,even in our world, he could utterly body almost anything in the Undertale/Deltarune multiverse, but he rarely gets involved with anyone except for VHS Sans due to their shared purpose of torturing those that made them what they are, and due to this they get along alright. To help with his torturing, he took the form of the actual Chara that fell in 20XX but he manipulated the form to his liking, making it look rotten and hollow. He also took a bit of inspiration from the AIRFORCEONEANGEL, with the bits that are nothing but exposed nervous system, (He also just liked the aesthetic).

Enemy’s: All none docile Chara’s, Many Sans’s (due to repeating the final corridor many times), All Floweys (Though he’s okay with any Asriels that come his way). Opposes: All docile Chara’s, Dream, Fresh, Nightmare and Ink sans. Is Opposed by: All Chara’s, and almost all Frisk’s. Allies: VHS Sans. Interests: All science based Sans’s, Papyrus’s and Gaster’s. Is interested in: Player (Underplayer),Player (Deltaplayer) and HIM due to all of them originating from our world. Pitied by:Most Toriels, and almost all Asriels.

Undertale: ANOMALY:: HIM

A boy that liked to play Undertale, sadly he met with a terrible fate and his soul ended up within his favorite game. Far surpassing all but the Anomaly himself, he holds large amounts of power and has chosen the discarded vessel as his avatar. Sadly a world where time is non linear isn’t good for the human mind, and he slowly went crazy, thus he has a good relationship with others in his position. All but the most powerful beings within the Undertale multiverse fear him, and even those who don’t are very wary of him.

Hates: Most Mad Dummies, and GASTER’s.

Opposed by: All beings within the Undertale multiverse with few exceptions.

Allies: None.

Is wary of: The Anomaly.

Is interested in: Underplayer, Deltaplayer and the Anomaly.

Interests: Almost everyone.

Is pitied by: Most beings within the Undertale multiverse.

What were Susie ralsei lancer noelle and berdly’s reactions to meeting delta? Did they freak out?

Funny enough Ralsei and Susie were there for the split. It wasn't ideal- but after a long journey why wouldn't you question how you were surviving all this nonsense despite being in the wrong world? what else can you do? Can you save everything? Everyone? Kris?

That's the kind of thoughts that led to the split, so Kris released the soul to close the fountain, and instead Delta took the opportunity to do the soul split infront of both Ralsei and Susie where Gaster couldn't stop them. Ralsei, although extremely worried about Kris now stuck at half health, welcomed Delta with open arms after calming down from the initial freak out. Susie was more skeptical- and by that i mean was super willing to throw an ax at Delta's head, she didn't like that Delta had been puppeteering kris around, but she learns that they couldn't help it and also accepts them in time. Delta stayed in the Darkworld till they understood how to manipulate things with their otherworldly determination a bit better, and basically wrote themself into the story as a foreign exchange student that moved in with kris while their brother was away. Saving most of the hassle when introducing them to Noelle and Berdly. Lancer didn't see the split either but he was just so happy to have someone so excited to meet him he didn't care.

I made a Deltarune Au based on two of my favorite Undertale Aus.

Meet the dumbass Halve souls. They're idiots.

To those of you Curious about the mechanics of my Deltarune au, Deltaplayer- I have made a small thing for you.

Enjoy my ramble.

Players in Deltaplayer are people like Me, You fellow askers, Delta, and other people who were born outside of the game perimeters. We are special because our souls with determination allow us to connect to the games we play, our souls activly replace the soul of the protagonist or whoever we are playing as, its why players who get attached to certain games thoroughly enjoy them and are probably very good at them, while others experience a dislike, a disconnect to a game and dont do as well. But our determination that the worlds we play with are nothing more than games is what keeps them as games.

Deltarune is different.

Deltarune has activly aware and sentient code within its game, known as the man who fell out of the code and into the void a long long time ago. Named W.D. Gaster.

In this au Gaster is what we will refer to as a MASSIVE DOUCHE.

Mister Gaster sees what the players are doing and gets scared, because the game is programmed to give you a vessel to do, whatever the fuck you want with your determination. And in turn He fears that you will destroy him and the world.

To fix that he decides on his own to not only delete your vessel, but attach you to a character that has a life and story that you have to follow now. He does this by removing the soul of a child named Kris. Creating an empty vessel for you. (This is what happens at the red doors in this au that the other kids say Kris is scared of. They're scared because this is where their life was ruined, where Gaster attacked them.)

Only he doesn't realize that touching characters for him allows them to ALSO be self aware, and so Kris is activly aware of you controlling them, and characters affected by Gaster to never tell you the world is real like Jevil and Spamton become corrupt or insane.

Now scrap all that because here comes a Player. A player who has a terrible life. A player so attached to Deltarune and wanting to be a part of it, that the determination in their soul ACTUALLY allows it to happen. Only the player is now stuck in Kris until they can figure out just HOW they got in the game in the first place.

This player. Is Delta.

Eventually Delta discovers how powerful their determination is and splits their soul in half, giving Kris and themself a part, and stealing back the code of the vessels from Gaster (who they beat within an inch of his life for fucking with people in this way) The two become inseparable, as damage to one of them does damage to both, like conjoined twins by the soul.

Delta helps everyone they meet (except Gaster because he's activly hurting people just to make sure Delta has no control). Delta refuses to hurt, perform, or even acknowledge any action that might lead to snowgrave or violence because to them, the world is REAL and because they think its real their determination makes it so.

They only want to be everyone's true friend, and to love a life here better than their life in the real world.

Delta doesn't like Gaster. They kind of resent him for forcing Kris into the life of a protagonist. As well as being the cause of several character's miseries such as Jevil and Spamton.

Quick question for the Split Control AU but like, later on after they like, actually at least become mutual friendly acquaintances with Delta, do they ever like, even though with what limited knowledge they had it was an understandable conclusion to make, feel bad about how they thought that Delta was evil? Like, all of them know that with what little context they had that was a perfectly reasonable conclusion to make, but those two still feel at least a little bad about type deal?

They felt guilty even before they all became friends.

.......Now I'm just imagining the sheer contrast between what they(Jevil and Spamton[and any othe extra-bosses]) think Delta was like and then actually interacting with them and their "I'm a devout pacifist and want to be friends with everyone" personality would be hilarious.

I don't blame Spamton and Jevil for being hostile towards Delta at first cus like they both got mind fucked by Gaster and are scared of it happening to someone else :( (I think?)

Yep pretty much. Though scared isn't really the right term- we see how Spamton acts around Kris the first time in the dumpster, they become close friends, companions even over the course of the deal. Because Kris is like him. A being controlled by a higher force who was "abandoned by their friends" cause at the time Spamton never saw Susie and Ralsei. I like to think that Hyperlink Blocked is actually supposed to be Freedom, or Free, and gaster is blocking it out.

Spamton and Jevil saw the person behind the strings and thought they could do somthing about it, so they did. Only to realize very fast that they had made an incredible error in judgment of character.
