SINGHAM AGAIN REVIEW
What in the multiverse of insanity was that.
I screamed shitless when I saw the trailer, and every time someone entered, I lost my shit. Because, it was crazy.
Oh maan. Like I don't understand why people are hating on it so freaking much.
Singham Again was decent, honestly. Agreed the star cast was overwhelming, but it actually had my interests satiated mainly. All their entries were cool, the puns hit well, certain scenes like the port burning scene had their fair share of adrenaline rush, acting was decent (I dare say even Arjun Kapoor was kinda okay). Overall, it was a cutesy retelling of Ramayana. I actually quite liked the way they presented the scenes and at different locations with the actual evidence of the real Ramayana.
Also, I have this weird habit of counting actors, at least the ones I know, so here we are:
Ajay Devgn as DCP Bajirao Singham
Jackie Shroff as Omar Hafeez
Ravi Kishan as Home Minister Raj Jaishankar
Kareena Kapoor Khan as Avni Kamat Singham
Shweta Tiwari as Devika Singh
Dayanand Shetty as Senior Inspector Daya Shetty
Ankit Mohan as Sarath
Deepika Padukone as DCP Shakti Shetty
Arjun Kapoor as Danger Lanka / Zubair Hafeez
Tiger Shroff as ACP Satya Bali
Akshay Kumar as DCP Veer Sooryavanshi
and holy shit.
Salman Khan as Inspector Chulbul Pandey

Devika had been worried the entire time she was at the palace, with what might be happening out there. Those were some long days, without any news of what the search party was facing out there or if they were even safe. And then the whole drama with the imposter guards keeping people hostage, it was too much for her to deal with. Although, as soon as she heard of their return, Devika came to the entrance of the palace in search of her future husband. "Ashir." She called out when she saw him, noticing the burns on his body. "Oh my God, are you well? We need to get you to a physician, someone to treat those wounds."

" So. When was it you were going to tell me? " Rakesh's voice came from behind Devika, where he leaned inconspicuously against the wall just beside the bedroom suite door to Ashir Singh's chambers. " Good thing I am not an assassin. Pakistani security is clearly terrible, if I made it through to you. " He did not mention that he'd all but lied && bribed the guards. Instead, he pretended to adjust his clothes, pushing his braid back behind him, fussing - it was all an act, building up to the score. Dark eyes raised to hers. " When was it you were going to tell me that you have abandoned the family on a whim? "

They didn't have to hide anymore and that was a welcoming change for Devika. There were those that still judged their love, mostly among their own people but at this point, they could not care less. And it was so freeing, being able to show everyone that Ashir was the love of her life and that she wanted nothing more than to marry him. Devika had sent a note to him, through one of her most trusted handmaidens, to meet her at the vineyards. It was a more secluded place, where they would be able to enjoy each other's company without the chaos and noise from the races. She sat alone on one of the benches, watching her surroundings and waiting for her lover to arrive.

Being in the Singh's quarters hadn't been as bad as she had expected. She expected whispers and dirty looks from the Pakistani but so far, they've been civil and respectful. She knew she couldn't ask for much more than that, things were still far too fresh. She wondered if it had been Ashir, ordering them to act this way around her, she assumed so. Seeing her sister, she let out a sigh, knowing some type of argument was coming her way. "What is there to sort out? Because me and Ashir, we've sorted things out already. We will marry one another." And the only way her family would be able to prevent that from happening was by kidnapping her and sending her away to India. "Do you truly think I care? It's about time people know what is happening, so they can get used to it." Devika was tired of people telling her what to do, what was right and what was wrong, as if she was nothing more than a child.

one look at her brother's features, the eldest mughal princess knew rakesh has heard of their sister's plans. maahi had known her brother would not agree, she had told their sister as much. she'd speak to rakesh later, right now she wished to see her sister. maahi has learned that she had shifted to aashir's chambers, while maahi had known of their indiscretions, they had remained as such only she and princess haspira knowing. now, they had left no stone unturned in ruining devika. but she supposes if her sister herself didn't care, it was a wasted effort on her siblings side. she finds her in the singh's quarters, pleased to find it empty save for devika. ❛you couldn't have waited to shift into his chambers until we sorted this all out, devika?❜ she looks exasperated. ❛do you know what sort of message this sends, or do you not have any sense of self-preservation?❜
