Diajak Menangisi Tahun Bersama-sama

PERTAMA kali saya sadar tahun baru bisa dilalui biasa-biasa saja ketika memasuki sekolah menengah pertama. Sebelum itu saya pikir tahun baru sama seperti hari raya. Pada malam tahun baru, kau harus keluar dengan pakaian terbaikmu, mendatangi rumah kawan, membakar jagung, menunjuk hantu, lalu melihat kembang api meletus di langit. Di masa menengah pertama, saya juga pertama kalinya tahu tahun baru bisa haram dirayakan. Karena sederet hal seperti terompet adalah budaya Yahudi, tahun baru ajaran Nasrani, dan menyalakan api pertanda Majusi. Pada masa itu, hal baru yang tidak kau ketahui selalu terdengar mudah untuk diterima.

Saya pernah merayakan tahun baru dengan menonton pertunjukan musik di Losari. Lalu tersesat kemudian terjebak macet tengah malam. Pada perayaan yang lain, saya menyambut 1 Januari dengan mengelilingi Samarinda sambil kehujanan dan kedinginan. Setelah saya pikir lagi, saya tidak menyesal malah ingin mengulanginya kalau ada kesempatan. Tapi sekarang banjir datang lebih lekas dibanding beberapa tahun lalu. Walaupun hari ini mereka sudah menyebutnya sebagai genangan air.

Saya juga pernah menghabiskan tahun baru dengan menonton saluran televisi. Menunggu Jakarta menghitung mundur saat tahun baru telah lewat satu jam di atap rumah saya. Pada waktu yang lain, saya bekerja di malam tahun baru. Bertemu dengan penggemar 2NE1 yang percaya girlband kesukaannya akan kembali naik panggung. 11 bulan setelah profilnya terbit di koran, YG Entertainment mengumumkan 2NE1 bubar. Saya berharap pria itu baik-baik saja dan memilih jalan baru sebagai ARMY.

Total selama lima kali pergantian tahun, saya selalu menulis satu kalimat, ya hanya satu kalimat, untuk mewakili 365 hari. Bukan cara yang bagus untuk merangkum jurnal memang, tapi toh saya tetap melakukannya. Ada tahun saat saya menulis kalimat: Mengalami naik dan turun dengan takaran yang tidak impas. Atau tahun yang mengajarkan: Bukan lagi tentang diri saya, karena cinta pasti akan berkuasa berkali-kali. Kemudian tahun saat saya berpikir: Waktu telah habis untuk orang yang berengsek. Lalu begitu saja, tahun baru menjadi parade yang tidak begitu ingin saya rayakan. Seperti hubungan yang membosankan—mungkin kami sekadar tidak cocok. Tapi, tenang, saya tidak akan menolak jika diajak untuk menangisinya bersama-sama.

MALAM pengujung tahun lalu, saya bersama Khajjar, Amel, Kiky, Syahrif, dan Darul. Sesudah membakar jagung dan memeram ubi di bara, kami berbaring di atas terpal berwarna biru. Tenda yang sore tadi, saya bantu dirikan tipis-tipis ternyata tidak ada yang ingin memakainya. Kami lebih memilih berbaring di bawah pinus yang tinggi, yang siang tadi dikabarkan rawan tumbang oleh si penjaga pantai. Khajjar yang paling senang ketika akhirnya kami sampai di Pantai Tanah Merah Tanjung Harapan. Perjalanan darat yang dimulai dari Samarinda, menjemput Darul di Handil, lalu kembali lagi ke Samboja untuk kamping. Saking senangnya Khajjar, saya sampai harus mengingatkan kalau dia lapar dan sudah mengeluh soal ini dari satu jam yang lalu.

Kami makan dengan nasi bungkus yang ditebak Syahrif dibeli tadi pagi di Jalan Perjuangan, tebakan anak rantau yang tentu saja benar. Setelah mengisi perut kami sepakat untuk tidur sejenak, paling tidak lima belas menit. Saya rupanya ketiduran dan baru bangun setelah mendengar suara Amel cengengesan. Ya ketua rombongan, yahahaha! Dia merekam adegan saya kaget, lalu memasukkan video itu ke Instagram Stories. Sehingga kini orang Instagram tahu, dalam kamping selalu ada orang yang tidak tahu diuntung dan itu adalah saya.

Kami pernah ke pantai ini dua tahun yang lalu. Saat itu Sketsa, lembaga pers mahasiswa tempat kami bernaung, sedang merayakan ulang tahun ke-10. Khajjar sebagai ketua ingin mengadakan trip singkat untuk merayakan momen spesial satu dekade. Selain membuat acara jalan-jalan ke pantai, ada juga seminar nasional dan acara syukuran yang kami gelar di kampus. Hebatnya semua acara bisa terlaksana meski tanpa ada sokongan dana yang jelas. Menyenangkan pada saat itu, tapi saya bilang ke Khajjar, sayalah yang menanggung akibat dari perbuatannya. Karena ketika saya jadi ketua, banyak anggota jadi mendadak malas bikin event! Dan tiap mendengar itu Khajjar cuma tertawa.

Beberapa adegan lain yang juga saya ingat, saat di dalam bis kami bermain komedi situasi yang judulnya “apa yang terjadi jika Amel dan Kiky punya suami seorang aktivis”—dan sampai hari ini kemungkinan itu masih terbuka. Ada juga permainan kelompok yang dipimpin Darul sebagai wasit. Waktu itu kelompok saya kalah dan saya protes seperti Didier Drogba. Sementara buat saya dan Syahrif, pantai ini mengingatkan kami dengan tulisan nakal di tembok kayunya. Dua tahun lalu, saya pernah mengambil gambar Syahrif sedang duduk sambil nyengir, persis di belakang dia ada teks berisi kalimat nakal. Awalnya lucu tapi Syahrif kesal ketika saya memperlihatkan hasilnya. Dia meminta fotonya dihapus. Kemarin saat kami berjalan untuk mengecek tulisan itu lagi, saya mengaku saya belum menghapus foto tersebut, dia sudah biasa saja dan memilih ikut tertawa. Komedi memang butuh waktu.

Malam hari ketika kami kamping adalah pekan terakhir dari tahun 2019. Amel bilang ini waktunya untuk percakapan yang serius. Setiap orang dia wajibkan untuk menceritakan kesan 2019 dan harapan untuk tahun depan. Ide itu awalnya terdengar konyol. Tapi, satu per satu dari kami tetap bercerita. Saya mendengar sambil memejamkan mata. Setiap cerita menampilkan wajah tahun yang tersenyum tapi muram. Begitu pun dengan saya. Malam itu saya hanya sanggup menceritakan sebagian dari apa yang saya rasakan tentang 2019. Hal-hal yang mungkin kawan saya bisa dengar tanpa harus menaruh simpati berlebih atas apa yang saya hadapi.

Bagi saya 2019 manis, tapi keparatnya juga minta ampun. Ini mendorong saya untuk berhenti mengharapkan tahun yang baik karena itu harapan orang dewasa, dan mereka selalu keliru saat menaruh harapan. Memulai, bertahan, berjalan, marah, menangis, mencapai, melepas, pergi, tiba, melawan, dan seperti juga kau, kami berenam mampu melalui 2019. Sebagai penyintas yang memeluk tubuh sendiri. Malam itu tersisa tiga hari lagi sebelum 2020 datang, tapi siapa peduli. Malam itu kami berenam sepakat tahun baru adalah malam ini saat ombak tidak terdengar dan laut sedang surut. Dan untukmu 2020 yang masih lugu dan mungkin bengis, fatum brutum amor fati.

PAGI harinya saya menjuluki orang-orang di kamping lain, yang mencari kerang dari malam sampai tembus pagi sedang praktik kerja romusha. Hal berbeda dilakukan Khajjar pagi ini, sebagai juru masak dia berhasil membuat sarapan yang enak. Menu nasi goreng, kangkung, tempe goreng, dan bumbu kacang. Sudah tidak ada lagi yang mengingat kalau Khajjar memasak makanan ini menggunakan pisau yang kemarin sore dipakainya untuk mengiris jamur di pohon, supaya bisa menyangga ponsel dan kami bisa berfoto berlima tanpa merepotkan orang lain. Hasilnya bikin saya gemas karena fotonya jadi miring. Kiky menertawai saya dan mencoba menenangkan dengan bilang nanti fotonya bisa diedit.

Sesudahnya kami duduk-duduk di batang pohon. Kelompok perempuan mencari hiburan lain sementara saya, Syahrif, dan Darul bercerita tentang dunia sepak bola. Darul sangat mengikuti Liga Inggris, sangat berbeda dengan saya yang cuma peduli Barcelona. Di ponsel White Shoes & The Couples Company sedang menyanyikan Senandung Maaf. Ketika bagian “gelombang nestapa kuharap sirna” saya mengaminkannya dalam hati, sambil menyimak percakapan sepak bola yang terus mengalir.

Matahari semakin naik, ini hari terakhir kamping dan tidak ada pertanda laut akan pasang. Saya mengajak Syahrif untuk main air tapi dia menolak dengan alasan takut kulitnya hitam—tidak papa, itu alasan yang masuk akal—sementara Darul sudah puas karena main air duluan kemarin sore. Saya bersikeras pergi sendiri. Saat itu, jarak ombak mungkin 100 meter dari bibir pantai. Kata Amel yang pergi main air duluan pas sebelum sarapan, air laut cokelat seperti banjir di Samarinda dan dia bingung kenapa masih mau berenang.

Saya berjalan mendekati ombak itu. Tidak banyak orang. Ombak itu hadir dengan riuh paling kecil. Saya merasa lebih kuat, mencoba menendangnya sekali. Kemudian sekali lagi, lagi, dan lagi. Sampai di satu titik saya menendang tiap ombak yang datang sembari mengumpat. Ini untukmu 2019! Terus mengulanginya, terus mengulanginya, terus mengulanginya, sampai apa yang tidak saya ceritakan menjadi pecah dan lenyap.

Tak jauh dari sana, saya melihat sepetak tanah basah dikelilingi laut yang susut. Tidak ada seorang pun di sana, saya berlari lalu membanting badan berkali-kali. Merayakan gravitasi. Menghempas badan ke tanah lunak, kau tahu, seperti jatuh tapi tidak marah sama sekali. Badanmu utuh sedangkan tanah itu meninggalkan bekas. Saya membanting badan terus-menerus, teriak, terus-menerus, tertawa. Hingga amarah satu tahun meluap. Begitu penting karena dengan itu saya merasa 2019 bisa saya maafkan. Karena saya tahu rasanya membenci tahun yang sangat brutal dan saya tidak ingin hal semacam itu terulang lagi. Tidak ada yang bisa kau ubah atas apa yang sudah dilahap waktu.

Saya menghempas tubuh sekali lagi. Sore nanti mungkin laut naik, jejak massa menghilang tapi masa terus terkenang.

12. Do you need to finish a book before you can move on to the next one, or will you have multiple books going at once?

I sometimes have multiple books going at once but ideally i best operate reading one book at a time?? idk it’s just easier for me to focus that way, like i know if i try to read multiple books at once it’s going to take even longer to finish all of them whereas doing one book at a time is more efficient for me, idk. I do currently have two books I’m reading, murder on the orient express and a poetry collection, but i’m putting the poetry collection on hold until i finish the agatha christie novel anyway lol

LOL I WISH i do know the first line of the Canterbury Tales prologue which is something like whan that aprill with his shores shote or something like that bc we had to memorize the first like twenty lines for bonus credit in a 10th grade english class but that’s really all i remember skdjfnsdkfsnd

Agacés par le manque de réponse de Gérard Collomb lundi devant les députés, les élus de la France Insoumise, à l'image de leur chef de file Jean-Luc Mélenchon, ont réclamé l'audition d'Emmanuel Macron. Seulement, la manœuvre n'est pas si simple, en vertu de plusieurs raisons constitutionnelles... Et le sujet divise même les spécialistes du droit constitutionnel.

«Théoriquement, le principe de séparation des pouvoirs implique que le chef de l'État n'a pas accès aux enceintes parlementaires, sauf à Versailles dans le cadre du congrès. On ne peut donc pas le convoquer», explique au Figaro le constitutionnaliste Didier Maus. «Mais cette réponse n'épuise pas totalement le sujet», nuance-t-il, se demandant si le président «ne pourrait pas de lui-même répondre aux attentes» de la Commission des lois. «On peut même imaginer que le président de la République reçoive à l'Élysée une délégation de la Commission des lois ou qu'il réponde à des questions écrites. Contacté par France Info, le constitutionnaliste Dominique Rousseau rappelle qu'une commission d'enquête parlementaire avait déjà demandé à auditionner un ancien chef de l'État, en la personne de Valéry Giscard d'Estaing, dans l'affaire des avions renifleurs... Mais François Mitterrand, son successeur à l'Élysée alors en poste, avait refusé au nom de «l'immunité totale» des présidents. Sur Twitter, Dominique Rousseau souligne par ailleurs que «l'article 67 de la Constitution interdit au président de la République de témoigner devant une juridiction ou une autorité administrative». Mais il ajoute qu'«une commission d'enquête parlementaire n'est ni l'une ni l'autre» et que le «président pourrait donc être invité pour témoigner non (pas) de sa politique mais de l'organisation de l'Élysée».

Une version contestée par Jean-Philippe Derosier - un constitutionnaliste auteur du blog hébergé par Le Monde «La Constitution décodée» - qui lui a répondu sur Twitter. Il indique quant à lui que trois raisons empêchent le président d'être «entendu par une instance parlementaire». Il cite notamment l'article 16 de la Déclaration des droits de l'homme et du citoyen qui implique la séparation des pouvoirs évoquée par Didier Maus ; l'article 67 alinéa 1 de la Constitution concernant l'irresponsabilité du Président ; et l'article 18 sur les cas limités d'intervention du Président au Parlement. Un article dont Emmanuel Macron a d'ailleurs demandé la modification lors de son discours au Congrès le 9 juillet dernier... Mais pour répondre aux parlementaires dans le cadre de son intervention annuelle à Versailles, et non pas dans le cadre d'une affaire.

Eks pelatih Real Madrid Zinedine Zidane mengisyaratkan dirinya bakal segera kembali melatih lagi.

Sejak pensiun bermain sepak bola, Zidane cuma melatih Madrid saja. Ia awalnya melatih tim Castilla El Real.

Kemudian ia menjadi pelatih tim utama Madrid pada tahun 2016. Ia bertahan di posisi itu sampai tahun 2018.

Ia kemudian cabut dari Madrid. Tapi pada tahun 2019 ia sepakat kembali menangani Los Blancos untuk kedua kalinya.

Zidane Masih Ingin Melatih

Zinedine Zidane kemudian berhenti dari Real Madrid untuk kedua kalinya pada tahun 2021 lalu. Sejak saat itu ia terus menganggur.

Zidane kemudian angkat bicara terkait masa depannya. Ia mengisyaratkan ingin melatih lagi dalam waktu dekat.

“Ya. Saya punya banyak [sisa untuk diberikan], atau setidaknya sesuatu,” ujarnya pada Telefoot. “Saya ingin melanjutkan jalan ini,” tegas Zidane.

“Saya ingin melanjutkan [karier melatih saya]. Saya masih memiliki nyala api ini, ini adalah hasrat saya, sepak bola,” tegasnya.

“Saya [hampir] 50 tahun, puas, saya senang, itu yang paling penting,” seru Zidane.

Apakah Zidane ke PSG

Belakangan ini ada kabar yang mengaitkan Zinedine Zidane dengan PSG. Ia disebut akan jadi pengganti Mauricio Pochettino.

Bahkan ada kabar PSG dan Zidane sudah menggelar pembicaraan. Hasilnya diklaim positif.

Akan tetapi Zidane tampaknya tak bakal ke PSG. Sebab klub sultan itu tampaknya bakal memilih Christophe Galtier sebagai pengganti Pochettino.

Zidane Gantikan Deschamps?

Selain PSG, Zinedine Zidane juga dikaitkan dengan TImnas Prancis. Bahkan Les Blues disebut sebagai target utama Zidane.

Jika kabar ini benar, maka ia akan jadi pengganti Didier Deschamps. Kontrak Deschamps di Timnas Prancis akan berakhir setelah usainya Piala Dunia 2022.

Saat ini masih belum jelas apakah ia akan memperpanjang kontraknya di Timnas Prancis atau tidak.

Why the Digital Analytics Forum 2019 was showstopper!

Entering its 11th year, the illustrious Digital Analytics Forum (DAF) once again showed why it’s the one of the top European analytics events. The event was held on the 14th November in the prestigious Pavillon Vendôme in the heart of Paris and gathered more than 400 analytics professionals and specialists. With a vast range of international guests, from analysts to marketers and business users across different sectors, the event allowed participants to learn more about the latest features in the Analytics Suite. As well as varied presentations showcasing our leading-edge innovations, it also allowed guests to gain new perspectives on their daily work and network with industry peers. AT Internet’s partners also held workshops to guide them and demonstrate the plethora of ways they can provide added value.

As ever, there was a large dose of AT vibe to accompany the event with a cocktail networking lunch and action-packed Wine Casino & Grand Crus wine tasting to round off the day.

Mathieu Llorens’ keynote – the urgency of rebuilding trust

Access to information has accelerated at an exponential rate over the last 25 years with the IT and Internet revolution. However, the rise in fake news has plagued the internet in recent years. Labelled as the perfect drug, fake news is ubiquitous and becoming increasingly impossible to detect.

Today’s tech giants are the biggest traffickers of fake news… and their actions are driven by maximising profit as opposed to spreading the truth. This has led to the paradox of the modern era: “We have never had access to so much information… and we have never had so little confidence in the information we receive.”

Fake news has also undermined the credibility of the media industry with public distrust at an all-time low. Digital marketing should make it possible for companies to be more customer-centric, and better target audiences with more personalised and less intrusive messages. However, although the media industry may promote long-term relationships on the surface, it is preoccupied with short term hyper-growth and the ultra-fast acquisition of traffic, users, audience and profit.

Likewise, the responsible use of Data is continually being eroded. Despite promising international regulations such as the GDPR, CCPA and LGPD, there are still considerable issues with 3rd party cookies, the privacy approach of the major browsers, lack of compliance with regulatory bodies such as the CNIL, increased ad blocker usage, fines and widespread brand damage.

AT Internet offers a range of technical and methodological solutions to guarantee data quality while respecting the privacy of individuals and the European regulations – thanks to ongoing discussions with the major privacy-related institutions.

The main priority is to have clear and transparent consent across the board.

Transparency – it’s vital to explain clearly what you do with your data

Minimisation is the next step for the world of web analysis – saving time, money, and energy for everyone – with the aim of focussing on real value. AT Internet promotes a quality-focussed approach that consists of collecting better rather than collecting more by focusing on the data that can really be activated. Minimisation also increases your economic efficiency: building on the relationship of trust that is the basis of any sustainable profitable business.

Mathieu concluded by stating that there is an urgent need to rebuild trust in brands, science, and reference media, and we all have our share of responsibility. The world needs to address the whimsical approach taken to data and objective truth and emerge from our currently toxic information environment. We should instead strive for the economic, technical and political benefits that modern tech should rightfully bestow.

The Analytics Suite moves into the fast lane

AT Internet’s Explorer has a range of new exciting features that have been created specifically to save you time. Anomaly detection and Axon Contribution are designed to enable analysts and business users to rapidly get the most out of their data – allowing them to devote more time to higher value-added tasks. By applying an algorithm to your underlying data, it can identify and measure variations that explain unusual trends. Seamlessly integrated into Explorer, it is designed to save you time by helping you analyse your data as well as unearthing insights that would otherwise have gone unnoticed.

For all users who carry out repetitive tasks on a daily basis, it now gives them the ability to save the configuration of their analysis as a view and be able to access them directly in Explorer every time they connect.

In addition, Navigation now has new features that allow users to start their analysis of the customer journey from any page of a given site to gain a stronger overall view of their activity.

Feedback from the first few weeks of Data Query 3 has been very positive. Several hundred users were impressed with the high performance of our new engine, with its new user interface offering an improved user experience.

Thanks to this brand-new version of our data mining tool, our users can benefit from advanced features such as:

unique visitors, deduplicated on long periods, across several sites

data viz to better understand the datasets

group-by and count features to manipulate the data without having to leave to Excel all the time

entirely customisable datasets with no correlation constraints, and much more to come

Data Query 3’s new engine is also a fantastic opportunity to revamp and redesign the Analytics Suite segmentation feature. After 30 workshops with some of our most engaged users over the summer, we shared the prototype during the DAF of what could be the future of the segmentation, with one focus: how can we help you save time?

Some features will be released in the next few weeks in Data Query 3 with the following target scope: segments shared on all sites, sequential segmentation, event segmentation, unrivalled performance, and far more.

AT boosts Crédit Agricole’s performance

To conclude the presentations, Nicolas Sanchez and Didier de Failly from Crédit Agricole talked about their Data-driven approach and deployment strategy. With data security and protection at the heart of their business model, they launched a new tagging plan to homogenise their data collection and tracking on their national website and 37 regional sites, creating a new customer portal.

Through close accompaniment, AT Internet helped them to harmonise data capture and promote benchmarks, as well as align the main site with tagging of the regional sites. They were also able to anticipate cross-channel Web/Application/Bank agency tracking and create a link the Data and CRM solutions.

Key success factors included an improved AT Internet tagging plan, a Tag Management tool applied to their site, and securing the deployment of NPC via double tagging (IBM DA + AT Internet).

They also carried out internal training to improve skills across all Crédit Agricole teams and enable all staff to get the maximum benefit out of AT Internet’s solution.

L’Équipe – using analytics to fuel efficient personalisation

Romain Lhote, head of data marketing at L’Équipe spoke about how they went from using Data as a dashboarding tool, to genuine activation. By implementing automated dashboards via AT’s API system, they were able to process the vast amount of data from their 2.8M daily users and 1.5B page views per month and effectively democratise it. They subsequently analysed all user data based on feedback and user behaviour with the aim of personalising their site and introducing dynamic web content.

By analysing page views on the app and dataflow API calls, L’Équipe could optimise their use of tags and article metadata. They applied scoring to measure which fans were tuning into which sport and were able to view exactly how many articles were read per sport. This led to complete personalisation of the Homepage.

Altice Média – app store optimisation and the importance of effective onboarding

Last but not least, Jérôme Perani – Growth & Partnerships VP @ Altice Média, talked about how they fully optimised their app stores and onboarding process. As a group with over 1800 employees, 1000+ journalists, and a range of media outlets including 15 TV channels, it was vital for Altice to improve app visibility across its stores through enhanced push notifications & in-app message strategy as well as adopt new tools to accelerate the metrics-action cycle.

He also went into detail about DAU/MAU stickiness (Daily/Weekly Active Users) and how Altice works with AT Internet and its partner connector tools Adjust and Batch to activate the data and optimise their analysis.

In terms of onboarding, Jérôme emphasised the importance of optimising an app’s first-time experience with a clear explanation of the value proposal of the app, the collection of user data consent, registration to push notification services, and avoiding the display of interstitials during the first session.

The 2019 DAF was once again held in the secure vault room of one of the most luxurious events spaces in Paris. The food by Potel & Chabot was a smash hit as was the wine for the Bordeaux Grand Crus tasting held in the evening. Some lucky winners also came away with prizes at our Wine Casino!
