Curiously, while Roachmon is listed as Bo-23 in every list and image I can find online, my Roachmon card is numbered CP-17. Similarly, Elecmon is supposed to be Bo-61 but mine is CP-33 I'm not sure why this is - I cannot find any information on it.

If you know why, please do let me know!

I feel like I need to share this on my blog here, so here it is.

Three versions of HerculesKabuterimon and MegaKabuterimon cards, the first in each row being from the original Digi-Battle card game, the second being the alternate art cards from the current tcg's Classic Collection set, meant to resemble those from Digi-Battle, and the last being the regular art version of the Classic Collection cards.

I wish I had the red MegaKabuterimon card to make that row more cohesive, but from what I can tell, only Japan ever got a red Kabuterimon card with that posing, so this is the best I can do without getting a Japanese copy. It still looks good beside them regardless.

For some reason when I was a kid Musyamon stood out to me and ended up being the first Digimon to attack the protagonists of my Digimon fanfic. I always think of that when I see the card, so it's kind of special to me.

Similarly, Kunemon reminds me of playing Digimon World and so is another card that sticks with me.

This Guilmon card is two-sided, with the back side functioning as a Blue Card. It came with the red D-Power Digivice toy sold by Bandai.

I swear I bought a green D-Power and should have a Terriermon card somewhere, but they've been Mandala'd out of my life along with my original orange and blue Digivices. Darn you, weird little reality-altering gremlins!

@skydigiblogs thankyou for the info in tags! i think you are right, and i got some things wrong in my original post, so i will clarify here;

the upper left card is indeed specifically for the first ENGLISH iteration of a digimon card game (digibattle card game?), and i wrongly labeled them as hyper colosseum because the FRONTS of those cards are almost identical. i can also confirm via my own collection that the ACTUAL hyper colosseum cards, the japanese ones, have the 'tamers' backs, it is not exclusive to the anime. i just got confused and glossed over this stuff cuz i was tired when i made the post ^^;

also while i did figure battle spirits wasn't exactly digimon cuz of the name, i didn't realize it was such a different game that included other anime stuff! i guess it's like magic the gathering, then :o

and ironically i do actually have a d-tector card, again i was just tired so i didn't look to see if it had a unique back to add to this list. i think i just assumed it was like some other cards i have that have info about the characters on the backs and thus weren't really applicable for this poll.

i will make a new poll with more accurate info!
