hi! i was wondering if you know of/ have any opinions you feel comfortable sharing about dobereich kennels in ontario? i'm just sort of starting out my search and they are in my province, seem nice and i didn't see any blaring red flags but i'm not the best at catching such things yet.

I’ve heard both good and bad, so I would take whatever you hear with a grain (or many) of salt before going off just one person’s opinion or story. Remember there’s always two sides to everything. However, I haven’t personally had any dealings with them, so I can’t say yes or no based on just that.

The only Canadian kennel that I have had a positive experience with is Gatehouse which is also in Ontario, and their daughter is actually here on tumblr and I chatter with her about puppies sometimes. She can out herself if she’d like to but I did get to see them + the dogs in person at UDC National last year and I know various happy people with their dogs, so that’d be where I’d start if I were looking specifically for Canadian breeders.
