30 Cabinet Ministers In New Modi Government: See List
Narendra Modi today took oath as Prime Minister for a record third term, equalling India's first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru's record of three wins.
Tumblr media
Honour guards lined the steps of the Rashtrapati Bhavan where thousands gathered to watch PM Modi, dressed in a white kurta and with blue waistcoat, take the oath.
PM Modi was followed immediately by top BJP aides Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah and Nitin Gadkari.
South Asian leaders from neighbouring Bangladesh, the Maldives and Sri Lanka attended the ceremony but neighbouring rivals China and Pakistan had notably not sent top leaders.
Led by the Prime Minister, the new team includes 30 Cabinet Ministers, 5 Ministers of State with Independent Charge and 36 Ministers of State.
PM Modi's party, BJP, won 240 seats in this year's poll, 32 short of a majority in the 543-member lower house. Allies helped him cross the 272-majority mark, with the National Democratic Alliance or NDA notching up 293 seats

List of Top 100 Influential Indians 2023 - Released by Hypedge Media
Tumblr media
The media coverage and spotlight are mostly caught by one or two industries in our country even though their involvement does not make any difference. However, it does neglect and leaves the real heroes of our country out of the eyes of our citizens who should acknowledge their work to improve the standards and be a difference in our society. We, an organization known as Hypedge Media Corporation, would be honored to present them to the people and appreciate all their contributions towards a better tomorrow for our country. We present you the list of “Top 100 Influential Indians 2023” released by Hypedge Media.
Hypedge Media took the opportunity to take the initiative to acknowledge the work of such Indians who have left a mark with their inspiring work and stayed determined to bring a change into the lives of such people when most people were not looking to get themselves into the mud.

Epilogue : Massive Earth Summit 2018
Tumblr media
Summits are generally yada yada affairs with an opportunity to escape the routine and meet fellow industry people. There are always more people outside chatting away than inside. On top of it, being first event, the huge challenge of having delegates / speakers etc et.  The event management company advised subtly to have cocktail and dinner so as to hold guest till then and and oh yes do not have more than 7 sessions in day, with lot of large panels so as to handle last minute dropouts-was the the parting friendly advice.
Off-course with conferences happening every second day, one need a sure shot recipe for success, or what they say in bollywood - the perfect formula film.
Somehow Massive Earth Summit 2018, first edition didn’t have any of it. No cocktails, no dinner, no management institute students to fill tables and no large panels. Well all sessions barring startup showcase, were one on one Q&A. Result - Sessions were packed till the end. On top of it, no speaker dropouts so instead of 6 suggested, we had 17.
Massive Summit happened in Massive way by a team which not only imagined but executed it flawlessly - ending the summit right on time at 7.30 sharp!!!
The first Massive Earth Summit was first in many ways - No plastic bottles, sustainable locally sourced food, no plastic badges, no flex side walls and a fine line of 38 speakers and some 290 delegates (1600+ had applied and 350 were invited). ( all this impeccable concept / design / execution was done by Gomassive team, Lemon Design and V Resorts.)
The opening key notes were delivered by Dr K VijayRaghvan (Principal Scientific Advisor, Government of India) and Mr Vijay Sekhar Sharma - Founder PayTM while The closing talks were delivered by Mr. Suresh Prabhu ji (Minister of State Commerce & Industry and Mr. Gajendra Singh Shekhawat ji (Minister of state for Agriculture & Farmers's Welfare). Some of the other key speakers were
Dr Anil Kakodkar -Ex Chairman Atomic Energy Commission of India
Mr. Manoj Kohli -Executive Chairman, SoftBank Energy
Dr. H Purushotham -Chairman & MD, National Research Development Corporation
Mr. Sanjeev Bikhchandani (Founder Infoedge)
His Excellency Mr Nils Ragnar Kamsvag (Ambassador of Norway)
Mr. Satya S Tripathi - Chairperson, Sustainable India Finance Facility, UN
Ms. Helena Molin Valdes -Head of the Secretariat, Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC), UNEP
Dr Ashok Khosla, Chair person - Development Alternatives, winner of King Zayed Award, life time achievement award by UNEP
Apart from the interesting sessions, we also had showcase by some 4 startups with very interesting technologies. The event created quite a buzz in media while the tag #massivesummit #massivebydesign #gomassive were trending on twitter. The notable mentions were Sand Art at Puri beach about Massive Summit and coverage of the event in TV - CNBC Away, News24, print and online media.
So great conference, massive buzz and great visibility! Now what ? Do we end up being a yada yada summit where people come and talk or while World in General and Delhi in particular battles with Air Pollution and climate change.
So Massive summit was the beginning of the war which we wage against these large problem. The summit saw the launch of Massive Design Challenge -

Prime Minister of India to inaugurate TERI’s flagship forum, World Sustainable Development Summit 2018
New Delhi, January 12, 2018: Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 2018 edition of the World Sustainable Development Summit (WSDS 2018) in New Delhi on February 16.
WSDS is the flagship forum of The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), which seeks to bring together global leaders and thinkers in the sustainable development, energy and environment sectors. Themed ‘Partnerships for a Resilient Planet’, WSDS 2018 aims to create action frameworks to resolve some of the most urgent challenges facing developing economies in the backdrop of climate change.
The Summit, which is the only global platform in the developing world to engage policy makers, researchers, think tanks, diplomats and corporates from around the world, is expected to see the participation of over 2,000 delegates. Discussions at WSDS 2018 will focus on collaborations aimed at influencing global dialogues on technology acquisition and financing, and on policies which promote the accelerated uptake of resource efficient and waste minimizing/reuse technologies as well as nudge consumer behaviour towards more sustainable practices.
Dr. Ajay Mathur, Director General, TERI, said, “As India and other emerging countries develop, the choices they make, in terms of technologies, policies and business models that they adopt, can have a huge impact locally and globally. Our aim is to ensure that these choices embrace sustainability – especially through resource use efficiency and waste management – while enhancing livelihoods, lifestyles and the development narrative.”
The Summit will address a wide variety of issues, including combating land degradation, effective waste management mechanisms to achieve landfill free cities, effectively combating air pollution, measures to increase resource and energy efficiency, facilitating the transition to clean energy and creating financial mechanisms to enable effective climate change mitigation. The summit will also feature a ‘Greenovation Exhibition’ to showcase the latest technological advancements made to meet the sustainable development goals.
The Summit will host several distinguished personalities including Mr. Harsh Vardhan, Minister for MoEFCC, Mr. Suresh Prabhu, Minster for Industries and Commerce, Mr. Hardeep Puri, Minister of State (IC) Housing and Urban Affairs, Mr. Jayant Sinha, Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Mr. Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum, the Fijian Attorney General and Minister for Economy, Public Enterprises, Civil Service and Communications, Government of Republic of Fiji and a range of luminaries related to the field of sustainable development, such as Ms Monique Barbut,  Executive Secretary, United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD); Prof Jeffrey Sachs, Director, Earth Institute, Columbia University; Dr. Yongping Zhai, Chief of Energy Sector Group, Asian Development Bank, and Ms. Laurence Tubiana, CEO, European Climate Foundation, along with key political and corporate leaders.
About World Sustainable Development Summit (WSDS)
The WSDS (World Sustainable Development Summit) has been the flagship event of TERI since 2001. It is a global forum that seeks to provide long-term solutions to protect our planet. Held annually, WSDS is the only event of its kind in the world with participation by global stakeholders—multilateral and bilateral development organizations, governments, the corporate sector, non-governmental organizations, and academic and research institutions. Now, globally esteemed as a credible summit on global issues related to sustainable development, it continues to provide hope to communities lagging behind on development indicators. 47 heads of state and government, 13 Nobel laureates, ministers from over 60 countries, 1500 business leaders, 1600+ speakers and delegates from across continents have participated over its past 16 editions.
