Waitress was absolutely amazing! I've been in love with the movie since it's release, and I thought they built upon it beautifully! A wonderful adaptation, and a killer cast! Honestly one of the best casts, as a whole, that I've EVER seen. They were just fanstastic. @bwolfepack is someone who I've been dying to see live for a long time and she did NOT disappoint. She broke my heart in a beautiful way and sounded just amazing. (Sadly not at the stage door after the show so I could tell her, but I'm just happy I got to witness her incredible talent live. And after being very sad I never made it to SF when @drewgehling was in town for the pre-broadway run of Roman Holiday, I'm so happy I finally got to at least see him perform live as well. Wonderfully endearing! I was so happy it turned out @thewillswenson was coming back to the show after I got my ticket, it was a joy to see him do his thing, and add layers to such a hatable character. And don't even get me started on @caithoula and @maiasouluvlai! I had yet to discover them until tonight and they absolutely blew me away, both very very funny, and both had just amazingly fantastic voices, incredible performances! Lastly, Larry Marshall who was understudying Joe, and who I just adored to pieces, he was utterly delightful. (and then there was the fantastic ensemble as well!) What an amazing evening! Also! Huge A+ to the Waitress creatives who decided to make the girls' uniforms, that are normally blue, pink for October, for Breast Cancer Awareness. (at Waitress the Musical)
