I love how in Bleach everyone else has crazy, dramatic, slow bankai releases. They gotta start glowing, winds whipping, big explosion of energy sometimes. Wind up long enough to fit a monologue. It's a big deal! Some of these guys haven't touched theirs in literal centuries! They take it seriously!

But Ichigo uses his bankai so often, and so casually, that he has it down to an art form. He doesn't need to shout it out, no pose striking, no wind up, heck he doesn't even need to stop moving! He can enter bankai between one breath and the next, and he has it refined to just a puff of smoke to cover the outfit change.

Thats so funny to me. We only really see the younger ones like toshiro, renji, komamura, maybe byakuya get that sort of ease. Maybe it's because they're younger that they don't revere their bankai the same, maybe it's just that they're not the massive aoe style of the older generation, maybe it's just a habit of hiding cards up their sleeves. But it's been said before and I'll say it again, Ichigo treats his bankai like it's his shikai, and his mask like it's the real bankai. (Something to be said about his zanpakuto, I'm sure ;) .)

But honestly he just goes poof at the slightest startle, and I'd love to see the rank and file with normal learning curves get confused about what's going on with him.
